Alcatraz Boarding Cattery Alcatraz is a small, personalised boarding cattery in Masterton We offer lots of human contact, even electric blankets when the weather cools.

Established in 2006, we are a small, personalised boarding cattery in Masterton perfectly set up for a number of cats from the same family or just the one cat... whatever suits your situation. Please note that we are open by appointment only. If you fail to notify me of a change to your pick up, or drop off time, there will be a $50.00 fee. This is because I arrange my day around your appointment

. Boarding rates start at $15.00 per day, and $10.00 for each additional cat, eg: two cats $25.00 per day, three cats $30.00 per day. No charge for the final day if collection is prior to midday. Why identifying a UTI is important…

I’ve had several cats stay with me, who have presented with UTI symptoms.

Mainly it’s the failed attempted effort to urinate, and going to different litter boxes to try again and again.

The beauty about having your cat stay in a cattery, is that we can pick up on toileting issues etc, that the owner may not realize because their cat may toilet outside.

If your cat randomly urinates inside your home, it can be another indicator.
(Note that this is not always the reason, but eliminating a UTI is important)

Great news is that Mr Orange is being adopted by a client. His new name is Busby, and that means we will see him grow up when he comes to stay. 😻
