Did you know, a Border Collie holds the world record for one of the weirdest tasks. in 2004, one Border Collie named “Striker” set the Guinness World Record for winding down a non-electric car window in just 11.4 seconds, giving him a unique record that hasn’t been touched since. Striker used his paws and nose to do the unwinding! 🐾🦮

Did you know, it’s no accident beagles all have the white tip on their tail. As hunting dogs, it was handy for the huntsman to be able to spot his dog in long grass. Therefore, they deliberately bred Beagle’s with white tail tips together. Now all Beagle have white tipped tails even if it’s just a few white hairs. 🐶🦮

It was thought that if these two dogs were brought together it would create a waterfowl hunting dog that could be useful on both land and water. And it worked! The golden retriever of today has a reputation of being an enthusiastic water lover. 🐶🐾
