A female Cameo cat has been hit by a car and unfortunately passed away on the way to CareVets clinic. She was hit on Owen Rd close to De Lautour shops. She is wearing a purple collar with paw prints on it. She is not microchipped.
Our condolences for your loss. Please call CareVets on 8677387 tomorrow between 9am-12pm Saturday or from 8am Monday if this is your cat.

This baby and his sibling (black male - photo to follow) needs a loving furever home. Found under someone’s house and were going to be euthanised. Both are wary of humans but with love and caring they will quickly become more tame. We have done some work on this at the clinic.

UPDATE: the tabby boy has found a home

Posting on behalf of one of our clients:

These two strays who she lovingly took into her home and now looking for their furever homes. They will both be vaccinated and desexed

The tabby boy was an abandoned cat, very friendly and a real battler who would love a good home to call his own where he can curl up inside, warm and loved. He has had a rough life, his recent vet check proved that, with the vet discovering a gun pellet lodged in his skin. Despite his life thus far, he is a very loving and affectionate cat.

The black and white girl is still a kitten. She loves to be around other cats as is a little shy with people still, and loves playing

Searching for her forever home!

This lucky girl was pulled out of an engine bay from one of our clients, she is extremely scared and needs a lot of time and love but is already an avid purrer and loves being cuddled up to your neck.

She is approx 9w old, female and a lovely grey and white colour with the cutest pink nose. Call us on 06 867 7387!

UPDATE: Only the little boy left now and he is crying for his sister 😭 💔 . Hopefully the right person sees this post and will adopt him into a loving home soon 🙏 🤞

2 of the 4 kittens are still looking for their furever homes. 1 boy and 1 girl left. SPCA have very kindly offered to provide vouchers for free desexing when they’re old enough so all you would need to pay for is $89.50 for their first vaccination on adoption. We’d really love them to go together as they love to play and cuddle up to sleep together 😻

UPDATE: OWNER FOUND

This little one was found running loose on Ormond Road this afternoon. Hopefully her family are missing her and can claim her back from us. Will need to provide evidence of ownership. No microchip 😞

LOOKING FOR FOREVER HOMES

We have 4 beautiful tabby kittens up for adoption through the clinic. They are approx 12 weeks old and full of personality. 2 boys and 2 girls! We would love for them to go as two pairs!

They will be flea and wormed and the new owner must bring them back to the clinic at an appropriate age for Desexing - the cost of which will need to be paid at the time of adoption 🐾
