We’ve had a teeny kitten brought in to the clinic, found on the road. We are looking for a foster home, drinking well with a bottle and toileting well! He had a small injury to the skin on his head but is all manageable.

We have a large short haired tabby entire male cat in our care who has unfortunately been hit by a car and passed outside 151 Ormond road last night.

UPDATE: Crown has found a new home 🥰This is Crown and she is looking for her new, loving, forever home. She’s a 4 year old American Bulldog (possibly with some staffy in her too), who has a beautiful, friendly nature. She’s a very happy, confident girl, loves people and gets on with other dogs. We’ve met her and adore her. We’re posting on behalf of our client who sadly needs to rehome her, for no fault her own. She’s energetic and will need lots of good exercise. FOUND, sadly passed away on side of Wainui Road close to Kaiti end. Black and tan, entire male, medium-sized Huntaway X. No collar or microchip. Estimated under 2 years. Please call the clinic 068677387 or msg the page if you think he might be yours

FOUND INJURED
Young female cat found injured around Grundy Street. Sadly she’s been hit by a car and is very poorly. No microchip. We’d love to find her owner. Despite her injuries, she’s very sweet and friendly 😻

A female Cameo cat has been hit by a car and unfortunately passed away on the way to CareVets clinic. She was hit on Owen Rd close to De Lautour shops. She is wearing a purple collar with paw prints on it. She is not microchipped.
Our condolences for your loss. Please call CareVets on 8677387 tomorrow between 9am-12pm Saturday or from 8am Monday if this is your cat.

UPDATE: the tabby boy has found a home

Posting on behalf of one of our clients:

These two strays who she lovingly took into her home and now looking for their furever homes. They will both be vaccinated and desexed

The tabby boy was an abandoned cat, very friendly and a real battler who would love a good home to call his own where he can curl up inside, warm and loved. He has had a rough life, his recent vet check proved that, with the vet discovering a gun pellet lodged in his skin. Despite his life thus far, he is a very loving and affectionate cat.

The black and white girl is still a kitten. She loves to be around other cats as is a little shy with people still, and loves playing

Searching for her forever home!

This lucky girl was pulled out of an engine bay from one of our clients, she is extremely scared and needs a lot of time and love but is already an avid purrer and loves being cuddled up to your neck.

She is approx 9w old, female and a lovely grey and white colour with the cutest pink nose. Call us on 06 867 7387!
