Today’s adventure didn’t quite go to plan… according to the internet, the Abbey Caves loop was supposed to take 1.5–2 hours, but we somehow finished it in about 20 minutes 😅 Even though it was short, the dogs did awesome navigating kissing gates, stile crossings, and four very enthusiastic llamas charging over to the fence to say hello 🦙🐾

Since we finished so quickly, we jumped back in the van and found another nearby track for a much longer, steeper adventure. Definitely one we’ll be back to explore more!

Cloudy skies, warm air, and the perfect autumn weather keeping us all comfortable so we ended up walking even further than usual and spent hours exploring the coastline together. Plenty of swims, zoomies and very happy pack 🐶🌊

First Indy joined Sid, Jack, Fern, and Todd for an explore around the Waimahanga Boswell Track in Onerahi, followed by some urban walking through the local streets. Everyone was super well behaved and relaxed around people and new surroundings.

Then in the afternoon, Indy headed to the Whangārei dog park with Luna and Zeb for some zoomies, free play, and confidence building fun. She even gave the agility seesaw a go all by herself! It gave her a bit of a fright at first, but she worked through it beautifully and finished on a really positive note 💛

Wednesday’s adventure took us out to Rūawai for a wander along the Stock Bank Trail 🐾 The pack had an awesome time exploring and enjoying somewhere a little different from our usual walks. Todd also found something disgusting to roll in… which earned him a very well-deserved bath when we got home 🤢😂

After a long walk down the beach, we explored high up through the sand dunes at our turnaround point before making our way back with plenty of swims along the way. With no Jack today, the dogs made the most of unlimited water time and had the absolute best day splashing around. 🐾🌊☀️

New bush adventure for the pack today 🌿🐾 We somehow managed to take every dead-end track possible, turning our usual adventure into a 3-hour mission 😂 The adventurers handled it like champs, and everyone made it back happy and tired. Meanwhile, Indy rolled in fresh horse poo from head to toe and smelt amazing all the way home 💩🤦‍♀️

Beach adventure with not a cloud in the sky, the sun ☀️ finally popped over the sand dunes, and it turned into the most beautiful warm day out with the adventurers. Lots of swims, lots of zooms, and very happy dogs all round 🌊

The dogs had an awesome bush adventure today with some playtime at the top using pampas plumes as giant flirt poles, which they absolutely loved jumping and chasing around 💛 Of course we had to stop for a swim on the way back too 🐶💦

Wednesday’s pack adventure took us out to the beach for some sunshine, swims, and an easy cruisy walk along the sand.

It was also Maggie’s last pack walk for a couple of months as she heads off on maternity leave. We’ve been keeping a little secret, with Maggie due to welcome puppies at the end of May. We’re wishing her all the very best as she gets ready for motherhood and can’t wait to meet the little arrivals.

Today’s pack adventure took us out to the bush, where we managed to avoid most of the wet weather. The adventurers enjoyed a nice walk, swim and plenty of sniffing through all the fresh bush smells 🌿🐾

Today, Tiger and Missy joined my personal dogs for their first adventure together 🌿 Their final training day was spent exploring the bush on the long lines, working on recall, and settling in with my pack. Both dogs did so well and are now ready to join our regular adventure outings moving forward. Very happy to have Tiger and Missy officially on board 🐾
