We are well over the mud this winter and are looking at better ways to manage mud on the property. One option we're considering is creating a hard-standing paddock with shelters or large covered yards to help save the paddocks and the horses in the wetter months.

We’d really value hearing what’s worked well for others—whether it’s surface materials, drainage ideas, layout tips, or full shelter setups. Every property is different, so we’re open to practical suggestions that could help us find the best fit for our place.

Forest Rides!!

Zharga’s not quite ready for full retirement just yet… She’s traded arena circles for the peaceful tracks of West Melton Forest — and she’d love some company.

We’re now offering scenic forest rides on our wonderful mare Zharga. She’s kind, experienced, and loves a good adventure.

🌿 Approx. 2-hour ride
🐴 Suitable for intermediate riders who would like to be off the lead and faster paced then walk, and select beginners on the lead

Spots are limited — she’s a popular lady with a schedule to match!

After an incredible few weeks away—first at the Badminton Horse Trials and then on an unforgettable horseback safari in South Africa—I'm back at Ten Acre Park.

It’s always a good reminder of how lucky we are to be surrounded by great people, wonderful horses, and a place that truly feels like home for both. We have meet so many amazing peoples through this business—thank you to everyone who’s stayed, trained, or trusted us with their horses. Your support means the world.

Here’s a quick update on the services we currently offer at Ten Acre Park:

Services available:
• Horse boarding – holiday stays, racehorse spelling, and rehab care
• Overnight stays for events, shows, or stopovers
• Facility hire for clinics, lessons, or private schooling
• Regular lessons (limited spots available)
• Short and long-term stays in our fully self-contained accommodation unit

Facilities include:
• 60m x 40m all-weather arena with full set of show jumps
• Indoor stables and outdoor yards
• Hot wash bay
• Day paddocks and large, equine-fenced paddocks
• 650m grass exercise track

We’ve had some pretty cute guest staying while their owners were away on holiday! Cute little Dane has been in our dry lot paddock to keep him off the grass! He has been loving the extra space. Gizzy and Vali are loving having their rugs off after all this rain!!
