To everyone who bought a sausage or a bacon buttie—thank you! Every single bite you took goes directly toward funding the completion of our bunk room (yes, we’re actually finishing it, and it’s going to be amazing!). 🏚️➡️🛌

About 99% of the interactions running up to and on event day were incredibly positive, and we love seeing our community support one another.That being said, we want to gently remind everyone that these days are entirely run by volunteers, including our officials. They give up their own time so everyone else can enjoy the day.

Moving forward, please remember: Appreciation goes a long way

Taking a moment to say a quick "thanks" to a volunteer makes a huge difference.

Lead with courtesy: If you have a query or a concern, please approach our team with patience and courtesy. We are all working as fast as we can to get things done for you!

Zero tolerance: Disrespect toward anyone helping out at these events will not be tolerated.We love our community and want to keep these events safe, positive, and fun for absolutely everyone.

For those competing at tomorrow's First Start Event, a few things to remember. First Start rules may be slightly different to other events.
These are a few issues that we see on a regular basis.

THE STOP BOX. Your horse must stand still for 5 seconds from the moment they stop. If they move, that's it. You may carry on. You don't get to start again.

EARRINGS. They are not allowed. Please remove them or tape them over.

LONG HAIR. Your hair must be in a net or a braid.

ASSISTANCE ON CROSS COUNTRY. You CAN NOT assist a rider on the cross country course. This includes giving advice or directions. You can give encouragement.

BITS. All dressage is to be riden in a snaffle. In jumping phases any bit is allowed but a snaffle is preferred.
