CAMBRIDGE SYNTHETIC RACES

Bruce Sherwin will have a better day commentating at Cambridge today after the heavy rain and poor visibility at the meeting two weeks ago. Just the two runners :

RACE 7 - 2.17pm
DANGEROUS LIAISONS : Her work on the synthetic is pleasing. She is holding her coat and condition well and has drawn nicely in gate 3. We would like to see her competitive today before a short spell leading into to her Spring campaign.

PAX MUNDI : Had an encouraging run at Ellerslie last start and reverts back to the poly today. A solid looking field on paper but from gate 2 she should get a nice run to be a good each way chance. She is very bright in herself and can't fault her work leading into today's race.

ARTURA : on debut after handling the heavy track conditions in his recent trial at Te Awamutu. Drawn gate 3 with in form Triston Moodley in the saddle.

TE RAPA RACES

A cold wet week see’s us all in real winter racing mode. Rug up and head out to Te Rapa racecourse to watch some exciting jumps racing and cheer our young apprentice Sam Mc Nab on in his first race day ride. He rides in race 10 at the end of the day and sorry I haven’t got a pic of you in our race colors yet Sam 😜

RACE 7 - 2.40pm
CAST OF DIAMONDS : - 8th - steps back up to 2400m which will suit. He has handled very heavy track conditions previously. Will settle back but should be working home strongly. Always an each way chance in a race like this.

RACE 8 - 3.15pm
ZIGGY STARDUST : - 7th - in grest form at present. She should handle the prevaiing track conditions. Drawn very wide but this may be an advantage in todays testing conditions.

RACE 10 - 4.25pm
AGERA : - 3rd 👌🏼👌🏼a very good run fresh up where he has taken great improvement. Ridden today by Sam McNab having his first race day ride. A talented young apprentice kicking off his riding career. A very competitive race, and again should be right in the finish.
