The Clotworthy Racing Stables sits on a beautiful section in Waiau Pa. With private access to Byerely Park, a range of rolling hills and flat paddocks and the neccessities of modern race day trainers, the Clotworthy Stables is a perfect home for your race horse. The Stables consist of 26 covered and sheltered box. The stables are distributed between an upper stable and a lower stable, as well as a
new addition of 8 covered boxes and 8 very large outside black sand yards. Between these two barns is a 10 horse Walker and a round yard, ideal for pre-training, breaking-in or schooling. There are over 40 acres of paddocks, perfect for paddock training and ideal for giving boxed horses a change of enviornment. These are all sheltered from the elements by a tree line and have post and rail fencing. A new addition is a full size fenced in arena with poles and schooling aids to give the horses variety in training. The back paddock has 4 padded hurdles and we have a jumping lane of logs and tyres on a sand base, also a variety of logs in open paddocks. A short walk away from the main complex is an exclusive 2000m plough/sand track that has variety of slight hills and is designed in a figure eight ideal for all horses and their preparation of training. A 50m outdoor natural swimming pool, perfect for re-habilitation or putting your horse through its 'paces' in the pool. Carry on a bit more and you'll find yourself at the Byerley Park Complex, where a host of Horse Trainers send their horses around the 1600m sand track.
