From the start of autumn days to zoomie plays, March was made for boarding stays! π
Lovely Nellie was still here luckily for us overlapping from end of February, and she was such a pleasure to have. The sweetest mature lady, and we can't wait to have her back when she next comes. π
From one end of the scale.... to the other when Jax came to stay!! This gorgeous 5 month old Sharpei X Staffi puppy had never boarded anywhere before, he just went to local daycare every so often so this was a new thing for him. But with lots of playtime, LOTS of cuddles and being able to
s p r a w l across the bed at night, he settled in super fast! π©Άπ€
As well as all the dogs arriving, I got to visit a pair of my regular kitty cats while their family were away for a couple of weekends. I adore Dougie and Maisie - they always give me the best miaowy welcomes, and don't bat an eyelid when I scoop them up and cover their faces in Auntie kisses. π₯° The purrs say they'd quite like more please.
Mabel, the most perfect Pug joined the Pets And Plants crew and came to holiday with us for the first time too. We fell in love with her within seconds and her little smiley face showed she was loving her time here mutually! The kids bond very easily with all the fluffs and we're always really sad when they go home again...
We finished off our month with our handsome Harry, he's been here before and he makes us laugh so much with his antics. When we talk to him, he listens so intently and hangs off our every word. His cocked head with his teefy underbite, makes my heart melt!! π€ (I do love sticky-out dog teeth!) We have him for one more night and he snuggles up so close, it's like having a real life teddy bear on the duvet.
Easter weekend is going to be a busy one with lots of visits to do, and a regular coming back to stay on Sunday hopping in like the huge bunny he is! π°
Enjoy your long weekend, keep any chocolate safely out of your pups' reach and let's see what April brings!
