Guess who's the highest judged stallion in the category 7 years and older in 2025: Gljátoppur frá Miðhrauni 😍. And guess what again, he's got a son here in New Zealand out of a well assessed mare, Rúmba frá Skruð. It's looking good for the NZ breeding 🥰. Gljátoppur did receive a whooping 10, the highest mark, for rideability: much willingness,cooperative, calm, positive! That's what we want 🥰.

Another great ride with my trusty steed Gandálfur in Waiuku forest. I'm not good at selfies but at least tried 😅. I'm using a new kid on the block' here: the Velicea ' Betra' custom made. Velicea is a high quality adjustable saddle. Keep an eye on this space for more information or pm me.

Playing with young rising four year old Leikur and slowly preparing him for being mounted.
He's multi tasking here with a surcingle for the very first time, standing on the mats and releasing of tension by yawning.
He was all taking it in his stride and even walking around with a saddle later, as if it's his daily task! He's soooo nice. His dad Vindur and mum Elddís can be proud of him (and of course his owner Lene 😄)🥰.

Who would have thought Gandálfur's favorite scratchy spot is under his belly and behind his elbows. You need to sit on a mobility scooter to discover that 😍. Thanks so much Frauke, he loves it! And guess what, today we found one on his crest of manes or basically from top to bottom, way easier to reach as a reward while in the saddle 😄🥰.
