Today our Team and a few of our rescues made it back to Turanga Creek Winery for another relaxing (👀) session of Puppy Yoga.

Shout out to the Pupper Girl Squad👯‍♀️🐶 - June, Diamond, Phoebe, Nova, Cleo & Coco 📣

Thank you to everyone who participated in today's class and welcomed our rescues with open arms and huge smiles! We had new class members today, we saw some familiar faces from our first session, and we even got to catch up with the family of one of our OG rescues, Sable 🩷💐

Thank you to the Turanga Creek Team🙏 Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful space and hosting a lovely event bringing the community and our rescues together. It was such a lovely day working with your friendly and accommodating Team!

FROMME’S UPDATE

Fromme is still waiting for his people, and we can’t wait for the day someone discovers what a special boy he is.

Fromme’s start in life wasn’t an easy one. He was found tied up under a house. At some point he was attacked, left with a badly neglected wound covered in flies. Despite everything, he’s still the sweetheart of a boy we get to enjoy today.

This handsome lad has personality in spades! He’s energetic, playful, full of enthusiasm and always ready to be part of whatever is happening. He loves his adventures, running about with his rescue mates and shopping trips to Bunnings, but he enjoys a bit of affection too and has a softer, sweeter side to him as well.

Fromme is doing an awesome job learning to manage his enthusiasm, so he’ll need an active family willing to continue his training and help him channel all that energy in the right direction.

He has so much to offer the right home: a loyal companion, an adventure buddy and a whole lot of character. All he wants is to be included in whatever fun is going on. We reckon someone out there is going to be very glad they chose him.

BISCUIT’S UPDATE

For our newer members, Biscuit was brought into care the night she birthed her 12 puppies last August, 2025. We’ve watched those tiny newborns grow into their own little personalities, and through it all, Biscuit was a fantastic mum giving them the very best start she could and helping them into new homes and families.

But Biscuit’s story doesn’t end at motherhood.

Since arriving at WAGS, she’s been through eye surgery, recovered beautifully and enjoyed farm adventures, made doggy friends and shown us more of the playful, affectionate girl behind the name Mumma Biscuit.

At around four years old, she has soo much to offer! She's a companion who gets along well with other dogs, she's an enthusiastic adventurer, a happy bouncy young doggo and when the day is done, so is she.

Her days of raising twelve little Bikkies are behind her. Now, we want her to have a family who takes her on walks, saves her a spot on the couch and makes her part of all the ordinary, wonderful things that make a dog feel at home.

CLOVER’S UPDATE

Back in June, Clover arrived at WAGS after being found abandoned with her seven little girls. Few of her puppies have been rehomed and only a few more to go. Clover has done her job as a mum and now it's time for her to just be Clover!

This incredible girl is certainly full of life and ready to share hers with an awesome, deserving family.

Since her puppies were weaned, Clover has been out exploring, meeting new friends and joining in on adventures with our team, including the Pink Ribbon Walk for Breast Cancer. She’s a happy, bubbly, energetic girl who loves people, gets along brilliantly with other dogs and is always ready to see what’s next.

Clover has spent enough of her life looking after everyone else. Now, she’s ready to enjoy being someone's companion, adventure buddy and much-loved family member.

She’s wonderful with people and other dogs, but would be best suited to a home without cats or other small animals.

Her days of being a Mum are over, and there are several fond memories banked from that time of her life. Now it’s time for Clover to just be Clover.

VALOR’S UPDATE

When Valor came into care with his mum, Maggie, and sister, Nova, he was one of just two puppies in his litter to survive. He had so much life ahead of him, and a whole community ready to help him discover it.

As a little pup, Valor was the shy one, happiest watching from a distance and saving his playful side for when it was just him and Nova. We gave him the time and space to find his feet, and little by little, we’ve watched him blossom.

Now around five months old, Valor is making friends, enjoying the company of people and other dogs, and growing in confidence at his own pace. He still loves the quieter things in life: a comfy bed, his favourite toy, and watching the world go by. He still isn't as expressive as other doggos so when that big smile appears, it makes your heart melt just a little more. He's so special in his very own way.

This Beagle mix has come such a long way, and now it’s time to find a family of his own.

🩷You might not be able to take another dog home. But you can help the right person find them. 🩵🐾

Every dog we introduce here needs something. A home. A foster family. Veterinary treatment. Someone willing to give them a chance.

And so much of that starts with their story appearing on someone’s screen.📺

For a small rescue like WAGS, this page is how we reach people who can help. When our stories reach further, there’s a greater chance of finding that foster space, covering that vet bill or reaching the family a dog has been waiting for 🩵🐾

We need people to see our dogs so we can keep getting them the help they need.🙏

Good morning, WAGS family 🐾🖤

It’s a big day at our amazing vets, with three of our dogs heading in to be desexed!

Rocky, our community boy whose very sore paws we recently shared with you, is going in for his desexing and microchip today. Joining him are Dasher and our beautiful Flower pup Daisy, now known as Amber. 🌼

Alongside treating injuries and helping dogs recover, this essential work helps prevent more unwanted litters and gives our dogs a healthier future.

📺🐾 WAGS RESCUE NZ ON TV! 🐾📺

Oh my goodness, what a morning! 🤩

The WAGS team had the most amazing time filming this morning, and we are SO proud of our little stars Diamond, Coco and Phoebe. They were all so well behaved and took their TV appearance in their stride! 🥹🐶

We absolutely loved meeting Kieryn and the crew thank you for making us feel so comfortable and giving us the opportunity to share a little bit of WAGS with everyone. 🖤

We’re still a little bit excited over here, so of course we had to share it with our WAGS family!
