This float certainly went on an adventure before it even reached its new home! 🚐🌧️

Simon travelled down from the North Island to collect his new float, but flooding left him stuck in Kaikōura for two nights. Once the roads reopened the following morning, we both set off for a long day of driving and met at Springs Junction for the handover.

This float is our 3 Horse rear-facing Angle Loading wide-body model with no living area, providing plenty of room for the horses to turn around comfortably inside.

It was customised with a front bench and storage underneath for saddles and other equipment, a water tank with external wash-down points on both sides, a chest bin with external access lockers, larger stallion guards and a rear ramp.

The walls on either side of the middle divider were also built higher, with hooks added to the right-hand side for extra practicality and storage.

It may not have been the collection day we originally planned, but we were so pleased to finally hand Simon’s new float over and see it safely on its way home.

We hope Simon and Claire enjoys plenty of great trips and adventures with their new Lysaght float! 🐴✨

Custom built Toyhauler 🏕️✨ Built for adventure, comfort and plenty of time off the beaten track.

This custom Toy Hauler features an elevator bed at the rear, U-shaped seating at the front that pulls out into an additional bed, full cooking facilities with an oven and stovetop, and a large fridge/freezer.

There are sliding doors that separate the front and rear living areas, providing privacy when needed, while a TV adds an extra touch of comfort for relaxing after a day of exploring.

It also includes a diesel heater, toilet and shower cubicle, gun safe, wardrobes, drawers, an external washdown and a specially designed rear-door storage box for tramping packs and footwear.

Every part of this build was designed around how the customer plans to use it, creating a practical and comfortable setup for trips away.

We wish Trish and Wayne many exciting adventures in their new Toy Hauler and look forward to catching up and hearing all about them!

Another Lysaght float out on the road! 🐴✨

This 2 Horse Wide-Body Angle Loader was designed with a practical setup for both the horses and their owners, including an extra 400mm of length for additional space in the Horse Area.

Some of the build features include:

▪️ Adjustable divider gate and rope
▪️ Solid front divider between the front area and horse area
▪️ Stallion guard
▪️ Two pop-up roof vents with mesh covers in the horse area
▪️ Front bench with internal storage and lockable doors
▪️ Sink and tap
▪️ Swing-out tack box and rug rack
▪️ 170-litre water tank built into the chest bin on the left
▪️ Solar power system, battery, charger, internal and external lighting, and USB charging points
▪️ Reversing and horse-area camera with a dual wireless display
▪️ Lined ceiling

Every Lysaght float is built in our Ashburton workshop, with each customer able to choose the layout, storage, dimensions and features that best suit them and their horses.

Charmaine brought her Horse Truck in for a bit of a glow up 🌟 in her horse area and toilet/shower we re-lined the walls as well as installing a new cover rack. We also installed a duel Bluetooth camera system and new smart tv and a general tidy up. Thanks for choosing Lysaghts Charmaine, we look forward to hearing about your adventures 🐴
