What a weekend !! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸŒžπŸŒžπŸŒžπŸŒžπŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Absolutely amazing and so heartwarming to welcome everyone back again. After the longest few weeks, having the yard full again, hearing the laughter, seeing all the happy faces, kids chatting away excitedly, parents catching up, schoolies being fussed over and everyone just back together again… it was SO special.
The sun shone for us all weekend and the whole place just felt happy again πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Watching lessons back in full swing, seeing our amazing staff family back doing what they do best πŸ™β˜ΊοΈπŸ«Ά and our beautiful schoolies looking after everyone so perfectly was honestly so amazing ... .my face is actually sore from smiling πŸ˜…

We have missed this SO much. Missed all of you so much πŸ’›

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the kindness, support, patience and love while we got through the last few weeks. Seeing everyone back this weekend reminded me exactly why we do what we do πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸŒžπŸŒžπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ™

Onwards and upwards and its like it was all just a bad dream .. πŸ™πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›

WE ARE FINALLY REOPENING πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

I honestly don’t even know where to begin !!! The words we have all been waiting to say for many many weeks ......
from this weekend ( SATURDAY 23rd/SUNDAY 24th MAY )lessons are officially back πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

To say we are happy would be an understatement. We are relieved, emotional, grateful and so unbelievably excited to have our riding school coming back to life again. We have missed our riders, families, pony cuddles, lessons and busy yard days more than you could possibly know πŸ₯°

The last few weeks have been incredibly difficult behind the scenes, but from the very beginning our absolute priority was making sure everything was handled properly, carefully and with the horses welfare at the centre of every decision made.
We also want to say a huge heartfelt thank you to the amazing people behind the scenes who supported, guided and helped us through all of this, their professionalism, advice and support were incredible and we could not have done it without them. We are so greatful πŸ™πŸ™

Most importantly of all, our precious schoolies remained happy, healthy and completely well throughout everything and honestly that is the greatest relief of all and something we will never take for granted πŸ’›πŸ₯°πŸ’›πŸ₯°πŸ΄πŸ΄πŸ΄

Lessons will restart slow and steady to make sure horses, ponies AND riders all come back happy and confident again, I know that everyone ( two and four legged 🀣 ) might be feeling a bit rusty so we'll take our time and enjoy ourselves while we slowly come back to getting used to the saddle 😊 There’ll be lots of gentle uncomplicated flatwork, walking the track, mounted games and some on board learning for the younger ones. πŸ’›πŸ˜Š

Today was and continues to be a busy day getting the schoolies back in, groomed, spoiled rotten and very lightly reintroduced to the walker, the lunge ring and the bridle and saddle again .... and to be honest they all seemed really happy and relaxed to be back doing what they do best 😊😊😊

I honestly cant thank our incredible Clonfert staff family πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’› enough for pulling together so quickly and getting stuck in straight away. We’ll continue preparing the horses and ponies throughout the week ready for lessons to resume this weekend 😊😊

We are just SO happy, SO relieved and SO excited to finally welcome everybody back .... we cant cant cant wait to see you ! 😊😊

Thank you all so so much for all your encouragement and kindness and well wishes and support and patience πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

WE'LL SEE YOU SOON πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ΄πŸ΄πŸ΄

We’ve had so many lovely messages asking when the yard will reopen for lessons, so I just wanted to share a little update πŸ’›
The honest answer is .... we don’t know just yet, and I know that’s not what anyone wants to hear but things are looking good and we're PRAYING that it wont be too much longer πŸ™
What I can say is that all of the horses and ponies continue to be happy, relaxed, and in great form, which is the most important thing to us right now.
We’re taking things day by day, following all advice, and making sure everything is done properly and safely before we reopen for lessons again.
We promise we’ll reopen as soon as we can.
We miss the yard being full of you all just as much as you miss being here !! it’s very quiet without you πŸ’›
Thank you so much for all the kindness, patience and support over the past while, it really does mean more than you know.
We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have any news at all. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ’›πŸ’›

Second round of testing done today for all liveries, another long day, but a really good one. Everyone behaved brilliantly, mostly ! πŸ‘€πŸ€£ … although they were far less impressed about it this time around πŸ€£πŸ˜… safe to say they all knew what was coming this time πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ€ͺ but honestly they were brilliant πŸ‘ πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜Š

Delighted to say all horses are still looking bright, well, in great form and most importantly showing no symptoms πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ˜Š

Our school horses are up next for round two this Monday so by the end of next week we should have a much clearer idea of where we stand.
We'll let you know the minute we can about reopening.....
But for now, we remain closed ..... no lessons, no liveries, no visitors.

Thank you all for sticking with us and being so patient πŸ™ πŸ’›πŸ’› it really doesn’t go unnoticed.
The messages, check-ins and support over the past while have honestly kept us going πŸ’› We can’t wait to get back to some sort of normal and see you all again.

We’ll keep you updated as always as we move through the next steps.

Huge thanks to Robbie Collins from Royal Equine, and a very special thank you to our very own Lia and Emma K for helping us today ..... putting up all the steps, getting horses in and out, and helping with the testing πŸ’ͺ would have taken alot longer without you, we really really appreciate it πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ’›

10/04/2026

Just a little reminder for all our wonderful clients that the yard remains closed for now .... no lessons, no visitors, no liveries until further notice.

We’re really missing you all. The yard feels very quiet without the kids, without everyone ! While all the horses and ponies are doing absolutely great ( Thankfully πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Š ) its just not the same without the usual buzz.
We're kept busy looking after all of them, nothing unusual there πŸ€£πŸ˜… and also busy taking bookings and organising Summer pony Camp 🌞 β˜€οΈ 🌞

We’re due to do the second round of testing next week, so we’re really hoping to have a clearer idea after that on what happens next.
Thanks so much for all your patience and understanding and all the lovely messages, we really appreciate it and can’t wait to have everyone back for lessons πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›πŸ˜Š

Have a lovely weekend 😊

Thanks again and so much for all the messages πŸ™

Just to reassure people, the horse that tested positive hasn’t left the yard in a very long time, and as soon as we got confirmation, we immediately decided to shut the whole place down and put all the necessary measures in place there and then.

From the very beginning we’ve been completely open and transparent, and anyone who needed to know anything has already been told or contacted directly.

We’re working very closely with the vet and the Equine centre and following all guidance. All horses are bright, happy, eating well and showing no symptoms.

As most of you know, this is a very rare situation thankfully, and we’re doing our best to manage it .... we really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work through it πŸ™ πŸ™πŸ™

We are completely focused on caring for all of the horses and ponies at the moment, so we’ll be sharing updates here rather than replying individually.
Thank you for giving us the space to get through this.

We’ll keep you updated as we go πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ€žπŸ€žπŸ€ž

The update we’ve all been holding our breath for… but not quite the one we were hoping for 😣
Testing has now confirmed that the virus is present on the yard.
The good news (and the most important thing) is that all horses are looking bright, happy, eating well and showing absolutely no signs of being unwell πŸ™πŸ‘Œ Typical… causing us all the stress while they haven’t a clue πŸ˜…

We’re working very closely with Robbie our vet and the team at the Equine Centre, following all guidance to the letter. They have been and continue to be absolutely amazing guiding us, and helping us however they can. Everything that needs to be done is being behind the scenes.

We’ll be testing again in 10–14 days to see where things are at, how we’re progressing and what happens next.

The yard will remain closed for now while we get on top of things .... not ideal, but it’s for the best.
Thank you all so much for the support, the lovely best wishes, the loyalty and the faith you have in us, it really really means the world !! πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

We’ll keep you updated as we move through this πŸ€žπŸ’›

A little update and a HUGE Thanks ....
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Robbie Collins from Royal Equine for his incredible support, advice and professionalism over the past few days. We are very lucky to have him guiding us through all of this.
Also a massive thank you to Alan, Emma K and Eabha for being such a brilliant team. Yesterday was no small task ... helping Robbie get through all the horses and ponies, taking swabs (bigger than any Covid test we’ve ever seen πŸ˜…) and bloods from everyone. It was a very long day, but made so much easier thanks to the teamwork and good humour throughout. We also want to thank YOU for all the lovely messages, well wishes, kind and supportive words... for the delivery of doughnuts at the front gate to help keep us going 🀣 πŸ˜‹ πŸ™
All bloods and swabs have now been delivered to the Irish Equine Centre, and we are expecting results back this Thursday. In the meantime, we are continuing to follow all veterinary advice and protocols carefully. Thankfully, there are no horses or ponies showing any symptoms .. long may that continue 🀞
We're really missing everyone, the yard is very quiet without you (and suspiciously tidy… πŸ˜†). The horses and ponies are all happy, relaxed and being very well looked after.
Thank you all so much for your continued support and understanding πŸ™ it really does mean a lot. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update to keep you all in the loop.
As some of you might have sort of heard already today .....
We’ve now had a confirmed case of an equine virus on the yard, πŸ˜·πŸ€’πŸ˜· and on the best veterinary advice we have closed the yard for the time being to stop any chance of it spreading.

The gate is now closed to everyone and will remain closed until further notice 😣

There can be no visitors to the yard during this time.

Our focus now is just on minding the horses and keeping everything as contained as possible. We’ll be up to our eyes over the next few days testing all horses on the yard, just to be sure to be sure… but I'm really happy to say that they’re all absolutely delighted to be put out in the fields alot earlier than expected πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‰πŸ€£

There’ll be no lessons, liveries or leasing for now.
And unfortunately there will be no Easter Camp either, this counts for both weeks πŸ˜• We’ll be sorting refunds or carry forwards for lessons, and the same for Easter pony Camp ..... whatever suits you best πŸ™

We’ve been contacting riders and Easter Campers individually and will keep working through everyone as best we can.

The best place to keep an eye for updates is here and our Instagram page and we'll let you know what's happening as soon as we can.
All going well we’ll have this under control and back to normal soon.

We’re really very sorry for any hassle caused, and thanks a million for your understanding, we really really appreciate it πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’› Thank you so so much for always supporting us no matter what. Means the world πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›
