Great day at the South of Ireland Hampshire Down Premier Show & Sale at Tullow Mart.

Our ram lamb Powerpack Guinness won 1st in the January class and champion ram. He later sold for €1180.

Our All Ireland ram lamb, Powerpack Governor also sold for €1350. We wish the best of luck to their purchasers.

We also came home with a new addition, the overall champion and top price of the day, a powerful shearling ewe from the Rocksolid flock.

We were over the moon to take home both Overall Champion & Reserve Champion yesterday at the South of Ireland Hampshire Down Sheep All Ireland Championships at Athlone Show.

Overall Champion was our ewe lamb and reserve champion was our ram lamb. We also won the Senior Ewe All Ireland class.

Thank you very much to everyone involved in the Hampshire Down society who put on a fantastic event & to judge Judith Galbraith from Graylen Hampshire Downs UK for her time and expertise. I appreciate all the help handling the sheep on the day from friends also.

It was very special to have our little daughter Isobel there to celebrate the double win on the day πŸ†
