Many of you may have passed our new veterinary hospital on your journeys through Castletroy over the past few months and wondered what’s been happening behind the scenes… 👀

Well, we’re now just weeks away from opening and seeing it all come together has been incredibly exciting.

We are delighted to introduce Dr. Megan Landers to the team as we prepare to open our new hospital.

A Limerick native, Megan graduated from UCD in 2016 and gained experience in mixed animal practice in Carlow and Cork before returning home. She now focuses on small animal practice, with a particular interest in dermatology, and has completed an Advanced Veterinary Practice certificate with the University of Liverpool.

Megan looks forward to providing a dermatology referral service to pets and owners across Limerick, Clare and surrounding areas.

We are thrilled to welcome Mike Canty to the team as we prepare to open the doors of our new hospital.

A proud Limerick native, Mike brings over 30 years of veterinary experience and has a particular passion for surgery. Throughout his career, he has helped introduce advanced surgical procedures to the region and continues to build on his expertise through ongoing training and development.

Mike will be temporarily based in Rockhall Vets, Ennis road, until Limerick Veterinary Hospital opens its doors in mid-May.
