What a fantastic weekend at the Limerick Show! 🐾🎉

We were delighted to sponsor the Dog Show, and what a brilliant day it was! 🐶❤️ It was so lovely seeing so many familiar faces and meeting so many new ones too.

The annual Limerick show is back once again and we are happy to announce we are sponsoring the dog show! There are multiple different categories for your four legged friends to show off in and prizes on the day! Limerick’s largest family & agricultural festival returns to Limerick Racecourse on Sunday August 23rd 2026. Kids under 16 go free! €15 for adults. There’s something for everyone; Show Jumping, Horse & Pony Shows, Horticultural, Dog Show, Food Village, Markets, KidsZone, Live Music, Careers Village and lots more. We can’t wait to see you all there!

🐾 Is your pet microchipped? 🐾

A microchip is one of the simplest ways to help your pet find their way home if they ever go missing. Unlike a collar or tag, a microchip can’t fall off and provides permanent identification that can be scanned by vets, animal welfare organisations, and local authorities.

In Ireland, it is a legal requirement for all dogs to be microchipped and registered. Keeping your contact details up to date is just as important as having the microchip itself.

For cats, while microchipping isn’t currently a legal requirement, it’s strongly recommended to give them the best chance of being reunited with you if they wander.
