🎃 HALLOWEEN DOG SAFETY TIPS

🦴 1. Keep Sweets & Chocolate Out of Reach
Chocolate and xylitol (in sugar-free treats) are toxic to dogs.

👗 2. Costumes are Optional
Only dress your dog if they’re comfortable — and never leave them unsupervised in costume.

🏡 3. Provide a Calm Space
Doorbells, costumes, and noise can stress dogs out. Set up a quiet room away from the front door.

🕯️ 4. Watch Decorations & Candles
Keep cords, wires, and lit pumpkins out of reach to avoid accidents.

🆔 5. ID Tags Up to Date
Make sure your dog’s collar ID and microchip info are current — just in case they slip out. Remember, it's the law to have ID on your dog :)

🌙 6. Walk Before Dark
Costumes, crowds, and decorations can spook dogs — walk earlier in the evening if possible.
