Hi All 🎉 Hope you had a magical Christmas & New Years with your family. 🩷 Just wanted to let you know that I’m sorry for any delay in responses this week, I haven’t been feeling 100% since Christmas and have been taking some time to rest up and get better 🥰 I also just wanted to say that I’m in a position to take on a small handful of Bath & Blow Dry clients this year. This will be French Bulldogs, short hair chihuahuas, Labradors, beagles.. essentially any dogs that don’t require full haircuts 🐾 So don’t hesitate in sharing my Instagram page with any family or friends with short haired breeds who will be looking for appointments. Looking forward to a fun fill 2024 with you all and your wonderful pets 🩷🎉🐾

🚨 Warning. Images of grooming related injuries. 🫣 I feel that it is extremely important to make this post. We know that it’s impossible to eliminate all dog grooming injuries. We are working with live animals and unfortunately, sometimes accidents happen! 😣Ensuring that you go to a groomer that has the appropriate qualifications is vital to ensure that accidents and injuries are minimised ♥️ However, it’s important to know that as groomers, we tend to get injured a LOT more than your doggies 🫣🤣 The following post shows injuries I have sustained while grooming dogs in the last 6 months alone and only contains a fraction of the bites, scratches and bruises I’ve had 🙈 I have had clients in the past feel that it was extremely unfair of me to ask them to bring their dogs every 4 weeks, or I would not be in a position to groom their pups. 🐾 Yes, this is expensive.. however, if your dog is not socialised to dog grooming, they are more likely to react or lash out during appointments. Not only is this a risk to your groomers health, but it always poses a risk that they will bite or lash out while we have sharp equipment close to their body ♥️ I stand by my oath to improve animal welfare and a key element to this is ensuring dogs that are nervous while being groomed are given the chance to grow in confidence with patience and positive reinforcement from their groomer! We are human and we do our best ! Work with your groomer to have a happy and healthy pup 🥰🐾 ❤️

Evening all ♥️ Just wanted to post a quick update here. As you all know, there has been a tonne of changes going on with Lush Puppy as of late. Some of these changes include taking on absolutely no new clients, late pick up and no show fees, price increases, placing dogs on set schedules, removing dogs from my books that have behaviours that are not improving and also dogs who have not been here in 4 months or more. These are changes that, as a business owner but also as a person who absolutely loves dogs and wants to please everyone, are extremely difficult to make 💫 However, I am committed to ensuring each and every dog that passes through my door is taken care of to the absolute best of my ability, with the best coat care products and with minimal wait times for appointments. I have been doing my absolute best to get you all in on your required dates and making sure your dogs needs are met. But in order to do this, sacrifices will need to be made! ♥️ I appreciate you all so much for your patience and support and look forward to an incredible 2023 with you all x L
