Hey! It's We love dogs, but we also care about other pets and animals too.

Each year the Cat's Protection League celebrates black cats on the 27th of October each year, as an annual appreciation of these beautiful looking cats.

When the campaign began in 2011, black.... and also black and white cats spent, on average, seven days longer in adoption centres than cats of other colours.

(This is also true of black coated dogs - they too often have trouble finding new homes.)

Since then, the campaign has succesfully highlighted that black cats shouldn't be overlooked. As a result, more black cats find homes more quickly. They are just as loving, just as adorable and just as beautiful as any cat.
