Andrews turn to have a vet visit today 😩
His hind leg was all swollen this morning, very hot and weeping, so he's now on antibiotics, pain relief, and steroids.
There's always an animal needing our TLC daily.

Terribly sad news 💔
After a very short illness, Horeb Harry Potter passed away suddenly yesterday.
We are still in disbelief as he was doing so well on his medication.
Goodbye Harry 💔 our very own Black Beauty 🖤🐎🌈

Positive thoughts for Potter 🐎🙏🏻
Today we thought we may have to have Harry Potter put to sleep. Family and friends came to say their goodbyes incase the scope examination showed something sinister. Fortunately, all is good , no growths or signs of asthma or COPD🙏🏻 however we don't have any answers as to why he's had 3 severe respiratory distress attacks in 6 weeks that sound absolutely terrifying.
He's now on a course of steroids to hopefully control what has been triggering these horrendous attacks 🙏🏻

Can anyone offer this lucky boy a forever non breeding home 🙏🏻
He's been discovered in a commercial egg farm .
Around 45 million male chicks are killed every year in the UK within hours of hatching.This culling happens because male chicks from layer breeds can not lay eggs and do not grow fast enough to be profitably raised for meat. They are disposed of on their first day of life using legal methods such as gassing (inert gas) or maceration.

Non breeding homes needed for school hatch chicks in pairs of male & female
They've been saved by a wise TA from going back the egg suppliers to be killed.
They have been trying to stop this from happening for a few years now.
If you can offer them a safe home when they go outside, please send us a pm.
