Back to the meadow this morning! We love this place! No other dogs and only saw one other person (a cyclist). So lucky to have places like this only a short drive away- amazing what you find when you venture a little further off the beaten track.

It’s shaping up to be a quiet week as we hurtle towards the end of August, but at least we saw Toto today. His friend Cooper is staying with him, so he joined us on our Wednesday morning walk. What a cutie!
Sorry Toto- I tried not to make you too jealous! 😅 ❤️🐾

No work today. After a busy week it was somewhat welcome-so we ended the week as we started it. A lovely sunny play session at Grow Walkies. I love to see my little goblin having fun.

What a week it’s been.
Monday: Stanley
Tuesday: Rory
Wednesday:Toto and Rius
Thursday: Rius and Rory.

Poor Rius has an ear infection so, on the instruction of the vet, owners asked to keep him out of the stream this week. He was really not happy about being on lead… hopefully next week bud!
I am absolutely thrilled with the progress made with little Rory. In just three walks he’s gone from barking at me and hiding at top of stairs, last week, to his whole body wiggling and jumping around today. He’s still not off lead yet until I feel comfortable letting him go with reliable recall, but I’m using clicker training along with treats which he really loves.
It’s a heck of a drive to him out in Whitham at the moment, while we build up to regular walks starting in September (76 mile round trip) but at only 8 miles from Chelmer Village, he is the first step towards setting up in Essex and another client in the city centre is ready in September too!

Despicable! Even the professionals make mistakes- but this is sheer negligence, lying and deception. Worst of all it was completely avoidable! 🤬😰🤬😰

A heartbroken grandmother was shocked to return home and find her beloved dog lying dead on the floor after a professional walker had dumped it there.

Another hot one today. So we worked hard to beat the heat. Glad it’s getting cooler from tomorrow! Charlie, Toto and Stanley. These three can never meet- the chaos levels would be off the scale!

Evenings are beginning to draw in but there’s still a bit of summer to be enjoyed yet!
Take advantage of the long summer afternoons, guilt free knowing we can walk right up to 7pm (last walk at 6pm).
We can also do house sitting (day time only- no overnight stays) so you and your family can enjoy a special day out, knowing your pet isn’t being left alone.
