For just Β£2.40 per person, you can enjoy a full day of animal encounters, feeding sessions, talks, and hands-on activities for the whole family!

Daily Talk & Activity Schedule:

There’s something happening every 45 minutes. You can come back and forth as many times as you like throughout the day, so you’ll never miss the action!

Not only that but it’s our last day of our Whose Poo At The Zoo Trail!

Every child receives a Whose Poo at The Zoo trail on entry! πŸ’©
Yes we know… BUT kids love chatting about poo so we thought we would bring back our favourite trail again this year!

See if you can match all of the poops to their owners and bring it back for a prize! (The trail sheet… not the poop…)

We have the time table for Sundays (30th August) Teachers Day!

Don’t forget to bring your ID badge for free entry to Cedars Nature Centre on the day!

All Day - Join our Education team in our outside classroom and learn about our school visits both onsite and offsite, take some leaflets for your school and find out how to get 10% off your first booking.

11am - Rainforest Talk in our indoor classroom. (Take part in a short demo of our rainforest topic that we can provide for schools!)

12pm - Minibeast hunt with our education officer Emma
(Emma will take you on a demo of our Minibeast hunts that take place during our onsite school visits.)

We’re officially halfway through the transformation of our tropical house into an exciting brand-new indoor classroom!

Back in April, we started converting the space so that we can continue offering school visits, home education sessions and events all year round β€” whatever the British weather decides to throw at us! πŸ˜‚

Our outdoor classroom is fantastic, but it’s really only suitable from April–October. We’ve always wanted to keep our education programmes going through the winter, and now we’re finally making it happen!

And we have some VERY exciting plans for the new space… including our upcoming monthly Science Rangers Club! πŸ”ŽπŸ¦Ž
You’ll have to keep an eye on our socials for more details…

In the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek!
Remember Kendra, our Burmese Python?🐍 Kendra moved to a lovely new home back in May, and we’ve since transformed her old enclosure into our brand-new Exotics Area, where those taking part in our experiences will be able to enjoy meeting some amazing animals.
