Sadly, many rabbits given as “Christmas surprises” are later surrendered, neglected, or abandoned once the novelty wears off.

A rabbit should only come into a home after thoughtful research, preparation, and a genuine long-term commitment. Never as an impulse gift wrapped in a bow.

The holidays are busy, noisy, and stressful — not the right time to bring a new pet home.
