He came to visit us for a health check when he was 8 weeks old, and was already weighing a whopping 9.5kg!

Who agrees with us that he might become quite a big chap??!

We have had a run recently of pesky grass seeds!!

Grass seeds like to burrow into skin, eyes, nose and ears which causes severe pain and can lead to infections.

It is a good idea to regularly check your dog after every walk, and contact us if you notice symptoms such as limping, head shaking, or continuous paw-licking.

Here's our latest grass-seed survivor Milo! Considering he is just a baby, he did so well ❤️

These two beautiful boys, Cookie and Waffle, were adopted together earlier this year and unfortunately began fighting for the ‘top bunny spot’.

Here they are when they came to us to be neutered, which will hopefully help settle their differences.

They’re both such striking colours and have the most impressive ears!🐰

Familiarise yourself with what temperatures are safe for your dog. ☀️🐕

Every year our vets treat hundreds of heat stroke cases and, heartbreakingly, some end in tragedy. Many are unfortunately a result of owners not knowing the dangers of exercising their dogs in temperatures to hot for them to handle.

Heat-related illnesses are almost always preventable. DONT TAKE THE RISK and make sure your pet isn’t overheating in the sun.

Temperatures over 24 degrees will be uncomfortable for most of our dogs, so make sure you are walking them at the coolest times of the day or simply keep them at home and give them some mental stimulation and enrichment things to do instead.

If you think your dog may be suffering from heat stroke, contact your vet immediately! If out-of-hours, find your nearest emergency vet.
