With the kids off school and summer holidays underway, your pet’s routine might be changing too. Whether you’re travelling or enjoying more time outdoors, don’t forget these summer essentials:

🦟 💊Parasite protection & Medication– Keep flea, tick, and lungworm treatments up to date. Be sure to order any repeat medication a few working days in advance before travelling.

🚗 Holiday safety – Never leave pets in a hot car, and make sure windows and doors are secure for adventurous cats.

🍔 BBQ caution – Keep corn on the cob, cooked bones, onions, grapes, and other dangerous foods well out of reach.

Primrose was caught snaffling something she definitely shouldn’t have at home, so her owner wasted no time bringing her straight down to us. 🐶❤️

One of our vets safely made her sick, and out came one of the more unusual foreign bodies we’ve seen! 😲

We have an entire male rabbit that was brought in by a member of the public yesterday into Vets Now.

The rabbit was found by Castle fields in Hartfield near the water treatment centre.

This lovely Rottweiler, Amber, was rushed in after suddenly developing excessive drooling and obvious distress. Despite feeling very uncomfortable, she was an absolute superstar and let us have a good look to find the source of the problem. ❤️
