🐾 Say hello to Simba! 🐾

This fluffy ball of happiness is just 8 months old and came in today for his very first nail clip — and he absolutely crushed it! 💅✨ Simba was such a champ, staying calm and curious the whole time.

We also spent time showing his lovely humans how to safely trim his nails at home — education is just as important as care! 🙌

Can’t wait to see you again soon, Simba! Thanks for brightening our day with that adorable smile. 🐶💛

Beautiful Bella the Labrador was enjoying her holiday in our area when she unfortunately developed a case of wet eczema after all that beach fun and splashing around 🌊🐕. Her lovely family brought her in to see us, and we were more than happy to help get her comfy again.

It was a real pleasure meeting Bella and her humans — and we’re always here to help, whether you’re local or just visiting on holiday 🏖️💙

🐶💉 Puppy Vaccination Day! 💉🐶

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting this gorgeous litter of Labrador puppies recently for their first vaccinations — and they were just as adorable as you’d imagine! 🐾💛

Vaccinations are a vital part of giving puppies the healthiest start in life. They help protect against serious and potentially fatal diseases like:

🔹 Parvovirus
🔹 Distemper
🔹 Leptospirosis
🔹 Hepatitis
🔹 Kennel Cough (optional)

Getting your puppy vaccinated not only protects them, but also helps stop the spread of diseases to other pets in the community. Most puppies will need a primary course of two injections, followed by annual boosters to stay protected.

Your vet will also check your pup’s overall health during these visits and answer any questions about diet, training, flea & worm prevention, and more!

These Labs were superstars today, and we can’t wait to see them again soon for their next check-up! 🩺🐾

🐾 Patient Spotlight: Luca the Husky 🐾

Meet Luca — a sweet and adventurous Husky who gave his family (and our team!) quite the scare recently. Luca accidentally swallowed a fishing hook, which became lodged in his oesophagus. 😰

Thanks to swift action from his owners and our surgical team, the hook was successfully removed in surgery. It was a delicate procedure, but we’re thrilled to report that Luca is recovering really well! 💪❤️

His wagging tail and bright eyes are already back, and he’s enjoying some well-earned cuddles (on a hook-free diet, of course 🐟🚫).

A big reminder to pet owners: keep fishing gear and other small items out of paw’s reach — our curious companions don’t always know what’s safe!
