🎆 What can we do to prepare for Fireworks Night? 🐾

Fireworks Night can be a stressful time for our four-legged friends. While we might enjoy the colourful displays in the sky, the loud bangs and unexpected noises can be frightening for many cats and dogs.

So, how can we help our pets feel safe, calm and comfortable?

Our lovely Nurses Tash and Kate are here to share some helpful advice! 🩵

A smile worth showing off! 🦷✨

Did you know that our qualified and trained veterinary dental nurses can carry out certain dental procedures, including scale and polishes, as part of your pet’s dental care?

Tasha has been busy helping keep our patient's teeth clean and healthy with a thorough scale and polish! 🪥💚

Dental hygiene plays an important role in your pet’s overall health, helping to remove plaque and tartar build-up and keep those mouths feeling fresh.

If you have any questions about your pet’s dental health or would like advice on keeping their teeth in tip-top condition, give us a call or book in for a dental care check up appointment! 🐶🐱

🐾 Exciting news: Edhen Vets is coming to Redruth! 🐾

We're delighted to announce that our new practice on Barncoose Terrace, Redruth, will open in spring 2027! 🎉

We're committed to the ethos that started Edhen Vets five years ago: friendly faces, a personal approach, continuity of care and genuine relationships with our clients and their pets. Just as in Truro, Newquay and Camborne, at Redruth you can count on:

🌙 Our own out-of-hours service, run by our team
💷 Clear, transparent pricing
🐶 Excellent value health plans to keep your pet healthy all year round

Redruth marks the final stage of our current expansion. It will help us better serve clients across mid-Cornwall, especially those who currently travel to our Truro practice, while also complementing and supporting our Camborne practice.

We're designing the inside from scratch, with our patients, clients and team at the heart of every decision, and we can't wait to show you the plans.

We'd love you to follow along over the coming months as we share build updates and watch our new practice take shape!

Same Edhen ethos. Same personal care. An exciting new home in Redruth. 🐾

Post-op checks with a little extra cosiness!💜

Paige, our student veterinary nurse, caught up with this gorgeous girl for her post-op check, who arrived wearing the most wonderful handmade jumper, lovingly made by her owner! 🧶🐾

We think she looks absolutely adorable, and it’s safe to say she’s recovering in style! 💕

💍🐔 A very special EdHEN do! 🐔💍

What are the chances of having one of our vets AND nurses getting married within a week of each other?! 🤍

There was only one thing for, a joint EdHEN do! 🥂😂

We had such an amazing day celebrating our two brides-to-be, Josie and Fran. Plenty of laughs and some very happy memories made along the way!

Now we just need to recover… and get ready for TWO weddings! 👰‍♀️👰‍♀️💒

We couldn’t be happier for you both! 🤍🥂
