**Info for any clients due to come to the Cattery over the next couple of weeks**

UPDATE 28/8/26

Due to a recent incident involving damage to Banff Bridge and the reallocation of resources to ensure the safety critical repair works are carried out, the works/closure at Boultenstone bridge is now scheduled for Monday, September 7.

Road users in the Marr area are advised that owing to urgent bridge repairs we are having to temporarily close the A97 at Boultenstone Bridge, Strathdon to the north of Ballater.

The 12-day closure begins on Monday (Aug 24) with access being provided for emergency services and vehicles requiring access to immediate properties only.

Owing to the requirement that we must divert to roads that are the same class as the one that is closed, the recommended detour is via the A97 – A93 – B972 – A93 – A939 – A944 – A97.

We appreciate that working on roads can cause some inconvenience to users, but we would ask that you bear with us as we carry out these essential improvements.

UPDATE...THE MOST FANTASTIC NEWS EVER. MILLIE WENT OFF TO HER NEW HOME YESTERDAY

Is there anyone that would give a fourteen year old cat on long term medication a quiet home for the rest of her life.

Millie is a lovely 😻 fourteen year old lady who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.
She does require Thyronorm twice daily.

Now she is stable she really needs to get into a home that's quiet, no other animals or children. Access to outside should she wish.

Millie is a quiet reserved lady. She is not a lap cat but does return the love on her own terms. Loves just to sit beside you.

Please please consider her.

Usual terms and conditions apply.
Home visit will be required either face to face or virtually. Four weeks insurance via petplan (unfortunately not covered for the hypothyroidism as it's a pre existing condition).
