No Show and Cancellation Policy for 2025

Hate to moan folks but unfortunately I have to put these things in place firmly now.

I totaled my losses from no shows and last minute Cancellations for 2024 and it resulted in over 3 weeks LOSS of wage. I understand something’s are unavoidable sometimes but unfortunately this does not mean that’s it’s ok for me to have a loss of wage.

If you no show or cancel within 24hours it’s impossible for me to fill that slot and I do NOT get paid it’s that simple.

2025 No show and cancellation policy :

If you No show for your appointment, there will be a fee of 100% of the groom, you can not book another appointment until this is paid.

If you no show for a second time you will be unable to book any future appointments.

If you cancel your appointment within 24hrs of your appointment there will be a fee of 100% of your groom which must be paid before rebooking.

Just a quick reminder!

It's Important that each dog is groomed in a good consistent routine. Stopping every 5 seconds to answer the phone makes this difficult, makes the grooms longer, puts me behind schedule and most importantly breaks the dogs routine, which is not what I want to do. There are certain dogs that I can not under any circumstances stop and leave my bench for. Wether that's ages, aggression or behavioural problems. Please respect this.

As always summer months are incredibly busy, Amys next appointment is October. Calling demanding appointments sooner will not get you an appointment.

I can not stress enough the importance of booking your dogs appointments as far in advance as you can. Most of my clients book for the year. If you do not do this I can not garuntee you flexibility nor your next appointment being within the time frame required.

Sue has now returned from her holidays and has gone through what messages she can, and will be back to answering the phone for her diary as normal.

Any appointments wanted with Amy if you can not wait till October I can not magically make another appointment be available for next week. No appointments will be made over the phone for Amy going forward. Book online or Text.

It's been a busy week here at Cute Cuts HQ!

Good morning Cute Cutters!

Over the last couple months iv seen a huge rise in overweight dogs, please understand that when your dog is overweight or obese it makes the grooming process for me and your dog harder.

If I suggest a different style of grooming or take longer to groom your dog this is for the benefits of your dog.

It takes more shampoo, longer drying times as I can often not use the heating element on the dryer, it's harder work for my tools and much harder work on my body lifting and helping your dog to stand for periods of time. Your dog may also need a break between grooms to lie down due to the extra weight on their joints. Also to mention balancing the styles is somtimes impossible as the dogs propotions are not correct.

I will always do my best by your dog but please understand that an overweight dog is not healthy and not fair. I can only do my best with your pets and I will never put a dog under any added stresses. Please take a look at your dog and adjust their diets accordingly, stop the human biscuits and extra treats and exersice your dogs to keep them fit and HEALTHY. For their own sake not just their grooming routines.

The influx of overweight and obese dogs has had a noticeable effect on grooming times and how many dogs I can groom in one day. Not only just because of the time it takes but the toll on my body and equipment. If this does continue I will have no choise but to rise prices for dogs that are overweight.

The ideal weight for your dog should be that their ribs are easily felt and somtimes visible, they should have a noticeable tuck from the side and a waist from above.
