✨ Happy National rescue dog day! ✨

This is Abbie’s rescue dog Boomer. He used to be a street dog in Zante Greece 🇬🇷 They rescued him back in 2020 and he’s been a part of the family ever since. ❤️

Boomer sometimes hung around the beach and The Boomerang bar which inspired his name! He was flown to the UK ✈️ and then resided in a dog rescue that Abbie’s husband worked at. From there they took him on day trips and instantly fell in love. He was shortly adopted and has been spoilt by them ever since. He now enjoys rolling in grass, many cuddles and occasionally digging in the dirt which we guess is what he used to do to get comfy before he slept on the beach 💤

Boomer was tested to see what breeds he was mixed with. The results surprisingly showed he is made up of 21 different breeds including Brittney spaniel and even chihuahua! He still gets yearly visits to the seaside which he loves 🏖️

🚧 Roadworks Update – We Are Open ❤️

We’ve had quite a few customers tell us this morning that they didn’t think they’d be able to reach us when coming from Weston Coyney.
Unfortunately, the way the road signs are positioned makes it look like the road is closed much earlier than it actually is.

This week we’ve definitely felt the sting — it’s been much quieter than usual. After speaking with the other businesses on our site, they’re feeling the drop in passing trade too.

So we just want to re‑affirm that we are very much open, along with all the other brilliant businesses on our road, including:
Mantra • Moorville Hall • Shirley’s Petrol Station • The Paint Shop • Dale Crete • Animal Lifeline

And also other local businesses affected by the closure, such as Bobby’s Ice Cream Parlour and Caverswall Creamery.

Please ignore the road closure signs — you can reach us with no restrictions.
