Huge wins for boxer Leia at her private lesson this week 🙌🥰

In this picture it might look very basic but there were 2 dogs walking past and we had 0 noise reactions - re engaging with owner Vicky constantly whilst the other 2 dogs walked past and then carried on walking away once they had gotten to a comfortable distance!
This felt very far away not long ago - she’s made great progress in her private lessons recently 🩵

💛Puppy Class Availability 💛

Our next available puppy life skills class is open for booking and already only has a few spaces left!

This class is suitable for puppies of up to 12 months of age looking to start their training journey, suitable for puppies who have little to no previous training.
This class covers a variety of different behaviours such as:
- Stays
- Impulse Control
- Place games/Settle work
- Social Skills
- ‘Drop’
- Recall
& more!
With limited groups it allows for puppies to get sufficient group time as well as 1-2-1 time with the trainer 🩵

The next available class is due to start on - Thursday 15th May
When? - Thursday Evenings at 6:30-7:30pm
What? - This course is a 5 week course for £65
Where? - All classes are held at the fabulous Doggy Cool Daycare, ST9 0DG (right next to animal lifeline on Leek Road) in their indoor arena to allow training to commence in all weathers 🌦️
Spaces - We currently only have 2 spaces available in this class

It was lovely to see Pablo the Dalmatian last night!
I have worked with Pablo for quite a while but hadn’t seen him in a few months - at yesterdays private lesson I was asked to work on some some new games and learning to keep his engagement up as it’s dropped a little in the last couple of weeks.
Here he is starting to learn some heelwork - which he aced 🙌

Disney has loved the recent sunny ☀️ weather as that’s meant the paddling pool has been out for her to splash in 💦
Whilst some of my other dogs take the more chilled approach of sunbathing 💛

Look at Ted learning how to settle in a busy restaurant at his private lesson 🤩

Teds biggest struggle is to stay settled as other dogs walk past - so in his private lesson we looked at teaching him a strong settle and how to achieve the impulse control needed for him to stay chilled whilst there’s a dog distraction!
I’d say he did so well 🩵

Private Lesson Availability is good currently, however we will be closed over the Easter weekend 🐣

Willow bathing in the sun ☀️ at trentham gardens last week whilst learning to settle and trust her owner whilst people walk past!

Willow can be quite wary of new people and can react out of fear if she approaches someone and then they go to stroke her, so we worked on her settling around people to take away her approaching people and giving off mixed signals! She did so well 🥰

Currently private training sessions have great availability 🙌

🩵 Next available Advanced Class is now open for booking 🩵

What is our advanced class?

This is our group suitable for people who have already completed a basic puppy class and are looking to continue in their training to further advance their pups training.
This class is tailored to the pups in the group focusing heavily on social skills, neutrality and heelwork behaviours, however we also cover door manners, emergency stops, advanced obedience, settle work & much more!
It is a rolling group where you can keep your space for as little or as many blocks as you would like, there is always more we can advance to.

Important details -

🩵This class is run in 5 week blocks for £65.
🩵Held at Doggy Cool Daycare on Thursday evenings at 7:30-8:30pm
🩵Spaces are limited and currently we only have 4 spaces available.
🩵The start date of the next course is the 3rd April
