13 years ago today I set up in business walking dogs and in that time I qualified in level 5 canine behaviour and helped dog owners build better and stronger relationships with their dogs. I wouldn't change any of it apart from the weather at times. It's been the hardest year to date for us as we lost our amazing Sammi and also a few of my clients also lost their beloved dogs and I'll treasure every memory I have of them all, my thoughts are also with their owners too 🌈🐶😢 Looking forward to another year in business with some more adventures with those precious dogs and obviously Gizmo 🐶 Thank you to all my clients past and current 🙂

Before each walk I take ground temperature readings and if it's too dangerous for walks then a toilet let out is given instead. Losing a dog is the worst feeling in the world so I'll do my absolute best in looking after your dogs and keeping them safe 🐾🐾The safety of the dogs always come first 🐾🐾

Thank you for your understanding when walks got reduced or replaced with a toilet break or moved earlier to beat the heat. This afternoon please keep your dogs indoors until the temperatures drop to a safe level 🐾🐾

This evening I did a dog safety talk with Heather's scout group. Gizmo was amazing demonstrating for 20 kids. Very proud of him 🐶😍

Fireworks 🎆 season is on its way so start to prepare your dogs early. One technique is to pair up the sounds with nice things. Take note of your dogs body language and work to there comfort level to prevent making the fear worse. I'll be starting these games with various fireworks sounds as Gizmo does get stressed by them so even if it helps a little then it's worth it ;)
