Tango training pupdate. Finally at just over 4 months of age her puppy training has reached a phase where she's learning to chew on her own things. Toileting outside in the correct place with dry nights. Her biggest challenge was the mop she loved it but I can now mop and hoover whilst she chooses to settle in her bed and watch 😁 Finally we can put the crate away 🙌 I've put her through my own puppy course and now starting to see the training pay off 🐶😍

Like any puppy they soon learn that jumping up is really rewarding as they get acknowledged for doing so or find something in the process. Jumping up isn't a behaviour I want for Tango so we've been working on making being on the floor more valuable even when building up excitement and distractions 🐶

Tango puppy training going well :) She's learning focus to encourage eye contact. Learning value for her name. Static positions sit and the start of down but not to que yet as the behaviour is still being learned. Bringing me my slippers as she loves to run off with them 🙈 Hopefully fetch is becoming more valuable than running off with them and it seems to be going well 😁🐶🐾🐾

13 years ago today I set up in business walking dogs and in that time I qualified in level 5 canine behaviour and helped dog owners build better and stronger relationships with their dogs. I wouldn't change any of it apart from the weather at times. It's been the hardest year to date for us as we lost our amazing Sammi and also a few of my clients also lost their beloved dogs and I'll treasure every memory I have of them all, my thoughts are also with their owners too 🌈🐶😢 Looking forward to another year in business with some more adventures with those precious dogs and obviously Gizmo 🐶 Thank you to all my clients past and current 🙂
