It was so important for Brandy to join Abi on her adventures in Europe, we want to share her checklist, so you can experience your own adventures.

1: Rabies vaccination - This needs to be done at least 1 month before and lasts 3 years after which you’ll need a booster. Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old.
2: Book Animal Health Certificate - This needs to be done the week before travel (no more than 10 days before travel). They will check microchip and animal details (s*x, breed, spay ect). If you’re in the Farnham/Winchester area I cannot recommend @‌farnhampettravel highly enough! Ian was great with the dogs, answered all my questions and even came to the house!
3: Make sure annual vaccinations are up to date.
4: Ferry vs train- We used the train because it was a similar price (brandy added £24) but even if it was more expensive I think its worth it. You can stay in your vehicle which is good if you’ve got a nervous dog. On the ferry you must leave your vehicle (there is a dog recreation area but it’s usually quite small).
5: Food - You cannot take meat products into Europe after Brexit. You can take fish based dog food (up to 20kg)! I would recommend the Eden Pet Foods fish cuisine kibble. It’s 100% fish or veggie origin and Brandy LOVES it (and she’s the fussiest, most sensitive tummied dog we’ve ever had). Once you get to Europe and find you’re running low the best place to re-stock is @‌maxizoo.france!
6: If youre heading down to the Mediterranean you’ll need a fly treatment to protect against disease carrying sandflies. This can be a collar or a spot on and needs to be administered a week before.
7: Make sure you get your Animal Health Certificate, Rabies vaccination, collar with ID tag (I bought a new one with the +44 international dial codes on), annual jabs certificate history (not compulsory but good to have), food and seat belt adapter.
8: Arrival (train): Head to the Pet reception (exit off a mini roundabout after customs gate). Take your docs, they’ll check your microchip and verify pets details and send you on your way! Super easy!

Former fussy eater turned Eden superfan!

New to our Eden family! Brie the dachshound was a fussy eater as a pup, until she discovered Eden.

Here is Brie's story:-
Brie has been fed on ‌Eden Pet Foods since a puppy, I’d tried so many different foods before them but she was going through a scary phase where she just wouldn’t eat anything . Even sort out veterinary advice because she was literally starving herself but they said she was absolutely fine.
Then we came across ‌Eden Pet Foods and heard so many good reviews, thought okay well I’ll try this …. Well what a relief, both girls loved it !! And we’ve never looked back & both girls are looking incredible on it.

Our Story

Eden Holistic Pet Foods are an independent family owned company based in the rural countryside of Staffordshire. The company was formed in 2011 with the aim of producing foods which supported the health and vitality of our own animals and has grown and flourished into the small business we have today. As a qualified nutritionist I have more than a keen interest in what we as humans eat and the effect that poor diet has on our health. My approach has always been to educate my clients and support them using a natural holistic approach. On a Mission to produce a biological and nutritionally aligned food working with top animal nutritionists and vets, the aim was to not only produce a dried food that mirrored the Ancestral Diet of our dogs but also only used the very best we could find for the ingredients. Our Nutrition Philosophy and our Promise: > We will strive to produce only the very best foods possible that are 100% Natural > Not use grains and cereals, animal derivatives, fillers, sweeteners or flavourings > We will openly list all ingredients including the amounts of the main ingredients that our food contains > Only use accurate descriptions and never use misleading information to hide the truth about the contents > Never create misleading packaging with pictures of ingredients that don't represent anything that is inside the package or use jargon to hide the truth about our food > Only use the highest level and quality of ingredients where possible from within the UK > Only ever use the ingredients listed, nothing more, and nothing hidden
