At Eden, we understand that Bonfire Night can be stressful for your pup.
Here are a few simple ways to help them stay happy, healthy, and calm this season 🎆🐾
Bonfire Night Safety Tips for Dogs:-
1- Create a Safe Space
Set up a quiet, cosy area indoors where your dog feels secure, include their bed, favourite toy, and maybe some calming music.
2- Keep Curtains Closed & Lights On
This helps muffle the flashes and reduce anxiety from sudden bursts of light.
3- Walk Before Dusk
Take your dog for a good walk before fireworks start to help them relax and avoid outdoor stress.
4- Stay Calm Yourself
Dogs pick up on our emotions, speak softly, don’t fuss too much, and act normally to reassure them.
5- Distract with Treats & Toys
Use long-lasting Eden Himalayan Milk Chews or puzzle feeders to keep them occupied and calm during the noise.
6- Avoid Firework Displays
Even confident dogs can get spooked, it’s best to keep them safely at home.
7- Check the Garden Before Letting Them Out
Ensure fences and gates are secure in case loud bangs startle them.
🦴 A little preparation goes a long way.
Let’s make this Bonfire Night a calm and comforting one for our four-legged family members 💛
