Afternoon everyone. Tried the Aircon unit on Monday but unfortunately it didn't make a difference, so I have returned it. It was freezing when stood next to it but when I was at my table I couldn't feel the air cooling at all. I was off yesterday then today have only managed one dog in from 8-10:30am this morning then had to cancel the rest of the day as it reached 30°C in the salon when the dryer was on. That's with the door open too letting cooler air in and the hot air out, so just isn't worth the risk of dogs overheating. I'm working 7-11am tomorrow then will see what temps are going to be like for those of you booked in Fri & Saturday 🥵
Hope all your dogs are coping in the heat, poor Brody was sick a few times this morning it's just been so warm for him on a night. He's got cooling mats, big fan going and I've just bought a cooling blanket from Pets at home and have put it on the sofa although he's not used it yet. Can't wait for it to cool down I don't cope well in the heat 😅

Evening Everyone. With the forecast set to be a hot one this week I'm going to see how days go and may need to cancel afternoons, I've just got an air con unit I'll be using tomorrow for the first time so will see if that helps 🤞🏼 You all know how warm it gets when the dryers are on when the temp is normal, yesterday I was sweating 🥵 Obviously need to put the safety of your pooches first. I'm off Tues and Thursday anyways so if I have to cancel either tomorrow or Wednesday afternoon Im busy Tuesday but could do Thursday morning for one or two clients depending on breed. The following week I'm off Monday so could also work that morning if need be 😊

Easter dog walk tomorrow morning 🐾🐾

Bank Holiday Monday Special - April Group Dog Walk 🐕 🐶

Join us this MONDAY for a special bank holiday Monday walk 🐾

We will be setting off from outside the shop at 10.30am for a stroll along the river, around the barrage and then back to the shop / cafe for coffee & free doggie sausages! 😋🐕
