Another lovely puppy crèche this morning. Thankyou to all my families for coming every week to puppy crèche. Learning about correct social interactions between puppies of all sizes. My wonderful families who help their puppies every week and learn themselves along the way with my guidance. Holly and Nolan are my wonderful kids who help me out ,they know exactly what to do being brought up surrounded by all kinds of dogs with all kinds of behaviours as I used to do board and train , in our home when we lived in Canada. 🇨🇦.

I am considering ( as per a client’s request) starting a structured social education. sessions for Juvelilles. ,over 10 months. When young dogs can struggle with their impulses which can get them into trouble with mature dogs. It will depend on the level of interest , please share this post and message me if interested 🐾🐾

Massive credit to my youngest son , who has worked tirelessly through Kaisers highly impulsive , vocal stage ( which he is now through ) without whom I would have struggled physically as I’m not quite as young as I used to be 😁🐾🐾

As an X competitive trainer and X Guide Dog Trainer , I have been trained to achieve a standard of excellence with training which I expect from my own dogs as they partner me in my work .All dogs develop at different rates as so much needs to be considered . Breed , genetic traits , sensitivities , early imprinting, just to mention a few things that determine speed of learning. Please don’t give up on your dog because it’s not trained in a few months , which some information may make you believe. My dogs have hundreds of hours of progressive education. Going at THE DOGS pace In order to achieve the level I need them to be at ,in order for them to assist me in my work. Kaiser is my young GSD He is almost three now. He is a natural Alpha male. High Prey drive and herding instinct are strongly inherited. Dogs like him need patience , and time as GSDs are late maturers .He is a wonderful young dog but hundreds of hours of training have gone into him. You only get out what you are willing to put in where dogs are concerned I do also want to add that Kaiser has been taught to ignore other dogs that bark at him and stare him down as they see him as a threat. Just because of his size and presence , this part of his education has taken time , guidance and patience Canine behaviour is complex , it is never too late to seek out the right help for your dog. 🐾🐾.
