As I get back from walking Kaiser who is now such a pleasure to walk 😁

It is a privilege to be the guardian of a German Shepherd Dog , but what most people don’t realise. They , are a strong willed working breed , with a high level of intelligence, who deserve to be correctly trained and understood
Their generic traits vary from dog to dog depending on the lines.
Kaiser has a very strong herding instinct, and prey drive . These impulses have to be understood and channeled in order to encourage the strongest bond and trust in the handler. Without me going into great detail. As I would be here all day 😁
Due to my high work load my daughter and my son did a lot of the training after I started him as a puppy. He has had hundreds of hours of training. He is now three so a little less like a puppy ( as they are very late maturers ) but he still has him moments. My son guided him through the most difficult stage ( juvenile) and is a credit to his handling
Only a patient , consistent, positive , structured approach will help your head strong puppy mature into a wonderful , well mannered adult.
They are not for the faint hearted. They are not suited to handlers that bully them into listening
Please think twice if you aren’t willing ( if not experienced ) to seek the right help. For this oh so noble breed. ❤️🐾🐾
