‼️THEFT CAUGHT ON CAMERA TODAY‼️

🆘 PLEASE SHARE (We are a small family business and with rising costs year on year, we will not tolerate this)
If you visited today with two young girls and allowed them back in the shop alone….
GIRL 1 - Approx. 7/8 years old - Blonde hair, wearing turquoise T-shirt and shorts set
GIRL 2 - Approx. 7/8 years old - Blonde hair, wearing white top and black shorts

We have clear CCTV footage of these girls constantly looking round at staff and waiting until staff were distracted serving customers then stealing soft toys on two separate occasions this afternoon around 3pm.

We would be grateful if you could contact us as soon as possible to resolve before we take this footage to the police.

Our staff member recognised you as regular customers so it would be a shame to risk being banned from visiting in the future.

As the clocks have now sprung us forward into Spring and we are seeing daylight for longer, we have extended our opening times from today.
⏰We are now open from 10am - 4:30pm (doors close for entry at 4pm)

📅 Road line marking work is taking place at Preston Park on Thursday 12 March.

🚧 This includes the relining of road markings on the road behind Butterfly World and the main car park.

🅿️ In order to facilitate this, the main car park will close at 4pm on Thursday.

🛣️ We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Just a reminder that WE ARE OPEN as normal, the rear carpark is closed, however the front carpark is open despite the presence of resurfacing vehicles

***RESURFACING WORKS TAKING PLACE AT PRESTON PARK***

🚧 Resurfacing work will be taking place in Preston Park from Monday 2 March to Wednesday 4 March 2026

✅ The works are part of the wider transformation of Preston Park and will be completed in two phases. The Museum, Park Café and main car park will all remain open during these works.

PHASE 1 - Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 March

📅 Path resurfacing work will take place on the main footway leading up to the Museum from the park’s main entrance. The path will be closed during this time and a pedestrian diversion will be in place.

PHASE 2 – Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 March

📅 Road resurfacing work will take place on the road behind Butterfly World. The road will be closed during this time.

❌ There will be no pedestrian access to the park via the woodland behind Butterfly World.

🚶 Park users should enter Preston Park through the main entrance.
