The Shakespeare kittens at their 7 am weight in! We have just starting weaning , which means they are gradually being introduced to soft kitten food mixed with kitten milk.
It’s a messy process, but they are all doing so well. The smallest two have learned to lap from a spoon in just one day.
Just love these little bears….❤️
Please,no adoption enquiries. These babies are only 4 weeks old

RAFFLE

We are organising a raffle to raise funds to support Rescue Kitties. This brilliant Rescue has recently incurred huge unexpected vet bills because they stepped in to help really ill cats and kittens.

We are donating our time here to help, and the first of our planned activities is a raffle.
First Prize
Hamper containing:
Bottle of M&S Prosecco, Red Wine
4 M&S cocktails, crisps, nuts and snacks and Percy Pigs!
Second Prizes: Biscuits and wine

Please help us by buying raffle tickets: 3 for £1 with every penny going to Rescue Kitties. Over 18s only please because of the alcohol
The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 13th June at 8 pm using a number generator, and winners notified. Collection will be from our shop in Manchester Road.

Please comment on this post with your full name stating how many tickets you would like and how you have paid for them. You can pay by PayPal, (link on our website) directly into our bank RBS The Heatons Animal Rescue Group
Sort code 162117
Acc: 10029815
We will also be selling tickets in the shop.
We will respond to your comment confirming the number of tickets, and the numbers allocated to you.
Please only apply by commenting : do not direct message us as we may miss it!
Let’s see how much we can raise to help the Rescue Kitties team

Thank you all so much for your support

Twiglet Update!!!

Yesterday Twiglet went into our vets to have an X-ray on his chest to see how well his cast had been working on rectifying his rib cage, with the plan it would be replaced with a new, bigger cast.

We have had the best news in that the original cast has worked, so much so that the vets suggested we now leave him without a cast and see if his ribcage stays in the correct shape.

Zoe our member of staff who is looking after Twigs will now care of him for the next month or two to make sure he doesn't deteriorate. If things stay the same he will not need the second operation.

Twiglet has now got a cone on to stop the little monkey from messing with his scar, as it was quite raw when the cast came off through rubbing.

We would now like to thank everyone who donated to Twiglets operation we have been quite taken aback by your generosity and we are glad you've all shared his journey so far. We will of course post more about Twiglet over the coming weeks as we know he has a little fan club 💙🩵💜

Update on Sora.....

Yesterday Sora had a blood transfusion from a member of staffs cat (Evie), after spending the day at the vets she came back to the sanctuary last night and seemed a lot livelier. We kept an eye on her through the night, and this morning, and she seems to be doing well.

We are unsure at the moment what has made this baby so anaemic. We are hoping that her red blood cells count will now remain normal and she will be ok. Her bloods will need testing again in the next few days just to be sure they are still at an acceptable level.

Like and follow to keep up with Soras story 💜
