Job Title: Horse Riding Instructor & Yard Assistant Location: Mill farm riding school, Hazel grove, SK7 6NQ

About Us: Mill Farm is a friendly, professional Riding school offering lessons, livery, and horse care services. We are committed to providing excellent tuition and top-quality horse care in a supportive and well-run yard. We’re currently looking for a dedicated horse riding instructor who is just as comfortable in the stable as they are in the school.

Role Overview: This is a dual role combining Yard duties with Riding instructing. We're looking for someone with a solid work ethic, a passion for horses, and the ability to teach riders of all ages and abilities in a safe, engaging way. You should be a team player, happy to muck in and help keep the yard running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

🧹 Yard Work & Horse Care
• Mucking out stables
• Feeding, haying, and watering
• Turning horses in and out
• Grooming, tacking up, and general horse care
• Monitoring horse health and reporting concerns
• Cleaning tack and maintaining yard cleanliness
• Assisting with farrier, vet, and dentist visits

🏇 Instructing
• Teaching individual and group riding lessons (children and/or adults)
• Planning safe, progressive, and fun sessions
• Encouraging rider development at all levels
• Helping manage lesson schedules and rider progress

Requirements:
• Solid horse care knowledge and yard experience
• Confident teaching a variety of riders
• Reliable, hardworking, and good at working independently or in a team
