Not every puppy loves their first groom… and that’s completely normal! 🐶

Meet Mylie, the gorgeous Poppy Staffordshire Bull Terrier. As you can see, she wasn’t a fan of the bath or the hairdryer at first, but with lots of patience, reassurance, and positive encouragement, she came around to both by the end of her session🛁✨

This is exactly why puppy grooming sessions are so important every 4 weeks until around 6 months of age. It helps build confidence, creates positive experiences, and sets them up for stress-free grooming for life🤎

Satisfying shedding 😍🙌🫧

✨ Pablo the Pomchi ✨

This handsome little man came in for a full groom, including a bath, blow dry, brush, de-shed, hygiene trim, nail clip, and ear clean 🛁✂️

Unfortunately, Pablo had previously been shaved, which has caused some coat trauma. Double-coated breeds like Pomchis should only be shaved when medically necessary, as it can affect how their coat grows back 🤎

Even so, Pablo was an absolute superstar and is still as cute as ever!

Mr Moose 🫎🤎 the Airedale Terrier

Moose is another dog I've been on a bit of a journey with. He isn't a fan of having his face handled, so we've been taking things at his pace and working hard to build trust. Watching his confidence grow with each visit is so rewarding.

For Moose, a short, practical pet trim suits his lifestyle perfectly, so he's clipped rather than hand stripped. While I've incorporated some of the traditional Airedale lines into his groom, this isn't a breed-standard trim, it's tailored to what works best for Moose and keeps him comfortable, happy, and easy to maintain ✂️

Every dog is different, and creating a grooming experience that works for them is always my priority 🐾
