Yesterday I had the greatest of privileges in hosting a Grooming talk at Craig y Nos Castle not far from Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (formerly Brecon Beacons) for my beloved Welsh Terriers in front of an international audience.

I just wanted to let you know that I am very, very lucky to have you all as my clients. Not everyone is as lucky as I am. 😊

Hi Everyone.

Just to let you know I am not around now until later next week. I will reply to messages and book everyone who is waiting for an appointment in next week when I know I'll be recovered enough to go back in the Salon.

Tomorrow I'm off to Wales to host a grooming talk about my beloved Welsh Terriers with people from all over the world attending. I'm so excited to be invited back again to do this. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This is a whirlwind week as on my return from Wales late on Friday, I'll tgen start to prepare for the second part of my double header fundraising challenge, which ive been training so hard for.

4 weeks ago we completed The Camino Ultra Marathon 50K. It's practically taken me all 4 weeks to recover my strength.

In the early hours of Sunday morning I will be once again running The official London Marathon virtually. Starting at the finish and finishing at the official start through the night/ early hours before the day run starts.

4 years ago this week was the very beginning of my breast cancer diagnosis.

Fast forward 4 years and here I am getting ready to run my 4th Marathon since my diagnosis. 🙌 with an amazing group of supportive friends.

I'm fundraising for our local Cancer Centre where I had my Chemotherapy. I want to continue to prove that there is life after a Cancer diagnosis. Even if the after effects of the disease and treatments keep on bloody giving me a hard time and try and make life difficult, it is not stopping me. 😊

My Rebellious Hope flows stronger than ever to support the 1 in 2 of us who will need that Chemotherapy chair in the very near future.

My initial target has been smashed, so lets see if we can hit £1.000.

Good morning everyone.

Thank you all for your amazing donations for my first run of my double challenge.
Yesterday I ran 50km ( 31 miles) from Welwyn Garden City down to Hackney Wick. The sunshine was ferocious but we got it done in just over 7 and a half hours.
I'm a little bit broken today but so proud of myself and my wonderful running friends.

Now just the small matter of running The London Marathon in reverse in just under 5 weeks time. ❤️💪

Hi everyone. I will be having a few days off from tomorrow into the beginning of next week.

I am doing the first of a double header challenge of "crazy" runs.😬

I have once again been training very hard inbetween grooming your beautiful dogs and family life.

This Saturday I will be running from The Gosling Centre in Welwyn, 31 miles ( 50K) to Hackney Wick (The Olympic Park ) following the Lea Valley Tow path. So I will definitely be needing a few days off next week to recover.

Then just because, 🤦🏼 in under five weeks from now in the early hours of Sunday 26th April, I will also be running The Official 46th London Marathon My Way, 26.2 miles ( 42K) overnight in reverse ( with other crazies) starting at the official Marathon finish line and finishing at the official start before the elite runners begin.

I was initially just doing this because I like to prove there is life after a Cancer diagnosis, but I was persuaded to add a fundraising link for our Macmillan Cancer centre at the Lister Hospital to see if I can contribute towards another Chemo chair, which they desperately need.

1 in 2 of us will get a form of Cancer-Fact. Unfortunately we all know of someone who Cancer in whatever form has affected. So if you are able to donate I would be truly grateful.

And while I won't be able to move very far next week I shall be booking all your dogs in for the coming weeks.

Hi everyone, life is very hectic at the moment but your beautiful dogs keep me sane. 🐾🐾

Today Prince Benji and gorgeous Iris came in for their baths, but it just wasn't the same. 😪
They have lost their Matriarch Princess Bonnie.
She came in at Christmas and her loving family made me aware that her health was rapidly declining. I'm just so glad I gave her that extra kiss on that day. She was such a lovely lady and although she was tiny she had the biggest personality. She has been with me from the first week I started grooming all those years ago and tears have flowed. Fly high and run free Bon Bons knowing you were truly loved. 💖🌈🐾🐾

Happy New Year everyone.😃🥳

The cold weather has frozen the pipes and bath solid in the salon🥶, so from past experience I'm just going to let them thaw out naturally, because if I switch anything on, something is bound to go bang. 😫
As with the hot weather your dogs welfare is my top priority and it's far to cold to bath them currently and it's also to cold for me too.
One of the after effects of my Chemotherapy is I really feel the cold, but especially in my right arm and hand.
As the weather is due to get worse before it gets better hopefully we can start afresh next week. But I'll keep you all posted.😊🐾🐾
