The darling Rosie showing her amazing colour change and Bubbles having his very first hunter clip. Bubbles has gone on my good boy list 🤣 you might remember him from previous videos where we had to start very slowly with small clippers, we then progressed to the big boys alongside some food distraction and today he just stood like an angel enjoying every second of his hunter clip. It’s all about building the trust with him and I was absolutely thrilled 🥰 Albie also had a full clip but he was so desperate to go out I didn’t even bother to try and make him smile for the camera 🤣

What is going on with this weather?! Got blasted by the wind, hid out of a rain shower that was not on my weather apps and topped myself up on ibuprofen after doing these little legs. Check out the hair styles, mine didn’t look much different by the end 🤣 All feeling much happier and a lot less itchy after their hunter body clips 🥰

Sleepy Cyril woke up feeling much better after his full clip. He has CPL and his legs get sore and as the hair grows it makes it impossible to get the treatment onto his skin. The best and kindest thing to do is clip the thick hair off so any medication can be put directly on to the skin and as the vet was there they gave him a mite injection. See you in 6 weeks you Hairy Mary 🥰

I’m so proud of this lovely boy having his first ‘grown up’ clip. I was lucky enough to start his clipping education and he lives out so we started with the great little chaser clips and leaving his head unclipped and now the weather is on the up we progressed to his first hunter clip with half head. He was completely unfazed and loved the scratches 🤣 well done little man 🥰

Let’s take a minute and appreciate how fab this little lady looks for 36!! 🥰 She has cushings and was showing no signs of shedding. You could feel the heat radiating off her like an electric blanket so off it came. She’s now a lot more comfortable and feeling fantastic and if you ask me she’s rocking those leg warmers! 🤣

A trace clip for the lovely old Jimmy boy. Most of the clips I’m doing at the moment are full or hunter clips, tidy ups and getting rid of the partial clips they may have had over winter. Jim is older and out. He still needs some protection but in our milder days was getting a little clammy and a bit itchy between his back legs. With 3” of hair between there it’s not surprising! We changed his winter chaser clip to a trace clip and went lower on the leg lines to get a bit of air to those cheeks 🤣 are the hind leg lines lower than I normally do…yes, does it matter….absolutely not! Clipping helps so many and in all sorts of ways and we have to remember, first and foremost, the clips we choose have to be beneficial to that individual horse and its needs. Jimbob will feel a lot more comfortable now 🥰
