Congratulations to Clyde for successfully completing his weight loss journey! 🥇👏

What great news to share at the beginning of a Bank Holiday weekend!

We were able to support Clyde and his owner by recommending an appropriate weight loss diet and advising the amount of food to be fed, which was adjusted depending on his weight loss progress.

Clyde has lost almost 2kg in 2 months, and his body condition score is now ideal; We have highlighted the desirable tummy tuck and waist, which is now visible!

If your pet is overweight, please reach out if you would like to be supported through the journey to ensure weight loss can be done both safely and successfully.

Evie, the gorgeous Malamute, was so happy to see her owner after surgery 🩷

Evie had a lump on the underside of her neck removed, which was then sent to our external lab to establish its nature.

And it's good news - the result was that it was non-cancerous 😀

Meet staff pet Che Che, enjoying her scratching post sprinkled with catnip 😺🌿

Catnip is a safe calming herb that can be sprinkled onto scratching posts and mats to encourage scratching!

Cats Protection, the UK's leading cat welfare charity, answers common questions with regards to cat scratching -
www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeXUUmszcME&t=169s

● Why do cats scratch?
● What scratching items are available?
● How do you encourage appropriate scratching?
● How do you prevent unwanting scratching?

Scratching is usually normal behaviour, but it may also be a sign of stress. If your cat has changed its scratching behaviour, or is scratching carpets, furniture, or wallpaper more than usual, book an appointment with a vet to rule out any potential medical issues.
