My aim in my career as a dog trainer has always been for “pet” dogs to have a good and reliable standard of obedience with the fundamentals being at the forefront- recall, stay, loose lead walking, place, correct play and retrieve. But I don’t just cover these in a village hall or enclosed field. I want my customers to have “socially” trained dogs as well. Take the heat seriously!!! Don’t under estimate it when it comes to your dogs. Try putting your coat on and going for a walk, barefoot, in the heat we’re having at the moment!!! I’ve already seen way too many dogs being walked in this heat and a couple left in vehicles 😮😮😮 It takes as little as 10 minutes for a dog to overheat🥵🥵 It won’t kill them to not to be walked for a couple of days. Heatstroke will kill them!!! Please be sensible and use common sense🙏🙏 I’ve not been walking till 8-9pm at night but if this isn’t possible they will survive without a walk. Think DOG!🌞🌞🐾🐾
