I've had the very best week! 😍🐾

A week spent surrounded by some truly amazing, like-minded dog people, sharing knowledge, learning from one another, developing our skills and, of course, playing, talking and training dogs!

There’s something pretty special about being around people who are just as passionate about dogs, training and continued learning as I am ❤️

It’s been a fantastic opportunity to challenge our thinking, build on existing knowledge and continue developing as trainers, all while having a lot of fun along the way!

Feeling very grateful for the people we’ve met, the knowledge we’ve gained and the dogs who have been part of it 🥰

Always learning. Always developing. Always striving to do better for the dogs. 🐾

😍 Handsome Finn had his first Gundog 1-1 recently! 🐾

This lovely Lab x Vizsla is still a young dog with so much potential, but like many adolescents, those hormones have started to make an appearance! 🫣😂

Finn’s owners wanted to give him a positive outlet for some of his natural drive, while providing plenty of mental stimulation, learning and purposeful work.

Gundog training is a fantastic way to channel those natural instincts and give young dogs something productive to focus on. It also creates opportunities to build communication, engagement and, most importantly, strengthen the relationship between dog and handler.

For Finn, the aim is to keep that enthusiasm and drive, while continuing to develop his skills and relationship with his owners throughout adolescence.

He was a superstar, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how this handsome boy develops! 🥰

I had the pleasure of meeting this little guy and his family recently 🥰🐾

Buddy is a 4 month old Beagle puppy, and like most puppies his age, he certainly brings plenty of curiosity and puppy mischief!

It had been a while since Buddy’s family had a puppy in the home, so they got in touch for a little guidance and support before starting their puppy class.

We covered some of the foundations that can make those early months a little easier, helping Buddy and his family build good habits from the start.

He’s a lovely little character, and I’m looking forward to seeing him again! 🥰
