We had a 1-1 with this handsome boy recently 😍 who proceeded to shout at me for not giving him food or attention quick enough 🙈

Bo is a rescue. Little is known about his past or socialisation. But, we do know he's a super affectionate boy, a foody, toy driven, all round super dog. However, his owner wanted a little support around other dogs.

Turns out Bo has no idea what to do around other dogs, so gets himself very excited! We looked at reward placement, along with some lead pressure and handling techniques, to help Bo and his new owner enjoy walks together.

Bo was happily walking past and next to one of our stooge dogs with no reactions and lots of owner focus. Now to keep up the hard work moving forwards!

When your clients send you training updates, putting in the hard work and consistency to make a change 🙌

Hattie struggles to settle and switch off, so we've started teaching her a solid bed command, and by adding the lead, we can enforce this without creating conflict with her.

She's learning it is actually relaxing to stop and sleep! Which has a positive knock on effect to the rest of her behaviour 🐾

Pippa had a training assessment with us, to help with her barking! She barks out the window, in the garden and out on a walk. Some would say she likes the sound of her own voice 🙈

But we got to work, firstly working out WHY Pippa was barking. Then we implemented changes and introduced training to help reduce her need to bark.

It's going to take a little time and alot of consistency, nothing changes overnight, but here's to a quieter Pippa! 🐾

Rescue girl Angel had a 1-1 session recently. She's been in her new home around 6 weeks now, so is starting to settle, allowing her personality to really shine.

She's a very smart girl, we think Collie x Terrier, so we've introduced some exercises to really work her brain, while continuing to build on engagement and reward systems with her owner 🐾

We are seeing her again soon! 🥰

Shepherd boy joined the girls for a swim on his recent training walk! 💧

To keep out of the heat of the day, we went for a swim, followed by some down stays around other dogs and some loose lead walking with distractions 🐾

He was super! Although swimming may take a few attemps in convincing him it's fun 😂🙈

Lovely Lola continues her confidence building journey 🐾

In our recent session Suki came along to help build confidence around seeing, meeting and then leaving dogs. Lola can become very vocal, this is both a learnt behaviour and a nervous response to her triggers. But slowly the barking is becoming less, and she's starting to focus on her humans so much more! 🥰

In just 2 weeks, with lots of hard work and dedication, this beautiful boy has gone from pulling on a gentle leader and rubbing his face to try get it off, all while not understanding there was an end to his lead. To walking like an absolute dream next to his mum, around a busy garden centre and café 🐾

Some settle practice was also on the cards, resulting in sausages from the cafe staff for being such a super boy, but shushhhhh! We shouldn't tell anyone that 🙈

Dog training is HARD WORK! There is no quick or easy fix. If YOU don't put in the time, repetitions, dedication and often make some changes, YOU won't see the results your looking for.

Buddy is just 😍 Huge shout out to his mum for sticking with it and trusting the process!
