Leo 🩵

Leo is a two month old Cocker Spaniel and has been visiting our practice for his puppy vaccines and the dispensing of flea and worm treatment. He is such a cutie and we cannot wait to watch him grow.

We love seeing photos of our patients in their home environment. Please do feel free to send us a photo of your pet for our new reception display!

Pepper update:

Pepper has been receiving weekly physiotherapy sessions with Molly after multiple procedures to repair her metatarsal fractures.

Pepper is back to her normal bouncy self with the help of her wonderful owners carrying out physiotherapy exercises at home.

We are so proud of you Pepper and will miss seeing you for your weekly Licky Lick treats!

Caring for our wildlife 🦔

This little hedgehog was kindly brought into our practice this morning by a member of the public when they noticed he had string wrapped around his back legs, neck and head.

Fortunately we managed to remove the string, provide the hedgehog with a bit of TLC and he has been released back into the wild happy and healthy!

This is a reminder to ALWAYS place rubbish in the bin and to never litter! 🗑️♻️

Timothea 🐢

Timothea is a 46 year old tortoise.

She visited our practice as she was struggling to pass eggs and after carrying out a radiograph we discovered many eggs. After many visits, injections and small baths, Timothea has safely passed 10 eggs in total and is back to her usual self!

‘Thank you for all of your help. Timothea is now making up for lost time and eating loads’

🌱 Grass Seed Season is here! 🌱

Keep an eye on your pets after walks — grass seeds can get stuck in paws, ears, eyes and coats, causing irritation and infection. In Enzo’s case, we found over 8 grass seeds in his nasal cavities!! 😱

Check your dog’s paws and ears regularly, especially after long grass areas. If you notice head shaking, limping, licking, sneezing or discomfort, contact our practice for advice.
