Porthgwidden Beach is one of my favourite and most-loved beaches to visit when dogs are allowed. This beautiful sheltered cove provides the perfect setting for a relaxed, slow-paced walk, whether you’re enjoying a gentle stroll along the sand or simply taking in the stunning coastal views.

There’s something truly special about watching dogs enjoy themselves here. I love seeing them swimming in the sea, chasing balls through the waves, splashing in the shallows, or simply running around and playing with pure happiness. It’s a wonderful place for dogs to explore, exercise, and enjoy some freedom in a safe and beautiful environment.

The sheltered nature of the beach makes it ideal for dogs of all ages, from energetic youngsters to older companions who prefer a slower pace. Every visit is different, but one thing remains the same – happy dogs and wagging tails everywhere.

🌬️🐾 Archie and I enjoyed a very windy walk on The Island this evening.

As a senior dog, Archie prefers a slower pace these days, and The Island is perfect for him. The paths are easy and even, allowing him to take his time and enjoy all the sights, sounds, and smells without having to rush.

While he’s definitely not a fan of the rain, the wind doesn’t seem to bother him at all! He happily carried on exploring, ears flapping in the Cornish breeze.

There is something very special about spending time with senior dogs. They remind us to slow down, appreciate the little things, and enjoy each moment as it comes.

The one little companion who’s always waiting for you, ready with love, comfort, and a wagging tail no matter what kind of day you’ve had.

One of the reasons I love my job so much is because I truly adore dogs. Every doggy I meet has their own personality, funny quirks, little habits, and special way of showing affection — and it’s such a privilege to spend time with them all. From energetic adventures to gentle cuddles, every day brings something different and so much joy.

And after spending my days walking and caring for amazing pups, I get to come home to my own favourite little friend 🐶✨

☀️🐾 Today was absolutely boiling, so it’s important to remember that some senior dogs, like my lovely Archie, really struggle in the heat. That’s why we swapped daytime walks for a gentle stroll at 6am and another later in the evening when it was much cooler. 🌅

Archie loves being on The Island, keeping in the shade, exploring the world at his own pace and sniffing absolutely everywhere! 🐶💚

Keeping our fur babies safe and comfortable during hot weather is always the priority. Please remember to avoid walking dogs during the hottest parts of the day, especially our older pups. ☀️🐕

Looking back through these photos fills my heart in the softest way. 🤍

When I first started my dog walking journey, I never imagined just how many beautiful souls I would meet — both four-legged and human. Every dog that has crossed my path has left a little paw print on my heart in their own special way.

Some were shy and needed patience, some were wild little adventurers, some loved slow gentle walks, and some greeted me every single time like I was their whole world. Over time, these walks became so much more than just walks. They became routines, trust, comfort, excitement, companionship, and bonds I truly cherish.

I feel incredibly lucky to have been welcomed into the lives of so many amazing dogs and their wonderful owners. Thank you for trusting me with your babies, for the conversations, the laughs, the muddy paws, the rainy walks, the cuddles, and all the memories in between.

Each photo here holds a story, a personality, and a connection I’ll always be grateful for. This journey has given me more love than I could have ever expected, and I honestly can’t wait to meet all the dogs still yet to come. 🐾

Not long ago, I visited my mum in Poland and had the pleasure of spending time with her two rescue doggies, Benek and Kajtek 🐾

Being around animals and nature always makes me feel the happiest and most fulfilled. There’s something so special about dogs and the unconditional love they give, even after experiencing cruelty or betrayal from humans. Their kindness and trust never stop amazing me.

I was so lucky to spend time with these two cuties. Kajtek is a senior dog, so our walks were slow, calm, and full of patience and understanding — especially as he’s quite an insecure little soul. Benek, on the other hand, is a 5-year-old bundle of energy! Such a cheeky chap with the funniest personality — he made me laugh so much. He absolutely loves exploring the world, so we always chose different walking spots to give him plenty of mental stimulation and new adventures.

Wherever life takes me, I know I’ll always be happiest surrounded by dogs 🐶💛
