Many Thanks to all those that attended our first Owl Evening last night. I know it was a little chilly sat in the tunnel but the birds loved the calm, cool conditions and all of them were super.

I know many places across the country are staying closed today due to the bad weather and usually if it involves rain, we are one of the first.
However the sun is out and yes it is very breezy but we have the polytunnel for flying birds in so we will be open today and the demonstration will be at 1.30pm as scheduled.

I love reading what the kids have enjoyed and taken away from their visit here to us. Wisbech Grammar were in last week as they had been learning about barn owls. They tied in a visit to coincide with their topic and it was great to see how much they had remembered.
It’s nice to be reminded sometimes what impact we have on people visiting and what the children remember. Hopefully giving them an enthusiasm to care for nature and the environment in the future.

The weather is glorious today so why not come and watch the 1.30 flying demonstration.
The display season finishes on the 1st November so there aren’t many more chances to catch it for this year. It will be on every day during the half term week and then it will be finished until master next year.
