Last Owl Evening of the year this Saturday. There are just a handful of tickets left for those that haven’t booked yet.
2 x 45 mins flying demonstrations with an interval of soup and a roll and hot drinks in the middle. Wrap up warm, bring a blanket and cushion to sit on if you wish but you are guaranteed an evening crammed full of entertaining owl info and as close to owls as you may have ever been.

They are finally here… We have been putting off the new Raven Experience gift card voucher until we moved over to the charity. They have been massively popular already without them even having a voucher aspect available.
People have been asking us when we would have them in stock so they can be given as Xmas gifts and the printers have just dropped off a shiny new pack of Owl, Bird of Prey and Raven Experience vouchers.
There is a pre order date on the website for them but we will probably remove that tomorrow and start sending them out.

For anyone that has visited and watched Evie fly birds in demo or have partaken in a flying experience that Evie has been your falconer for, you will of no doubt been crammed full of loads of interesting facts about birds of prey and owls. Not only this but she is great with the birds and now a priceless member of the Baytree Owl and Raptor Centre team.
She has just completed her level 2 animal care and welfare apprenticeship with a distinction and is now about to start Level 3 in the next couple of weeks.
We would like to congratulate her on a great achievement and here’s to no doubt, a similar result in the next level.

Well, as you can imagine we are already flooded in a fair few areas. It has forecast rain until tomorrow morning so we probably won’t let people in to see the birds today.
We are working on hard sweeping and pumping water out and that will the main job for most of today we suspect.
The shop will still be open and we will hopefully have the Xmas page up and running on the website today.

We've had a few very generous people ask about being able to access the amazon wishlist again. I will find a way to pin it to the page somewhere but for now here is the link to the new one that I have switched over from the old account. I will update it and refresh it a bit over the next couple of days for those who always ask about purchasing something for the centre for Xmas.
The charity set up has cost us a fortune to get going but we know it will be all worth it in the end. Anything from this list are items we would be buying ourselves gradually or when necessary so any help towards that is very much appreciated.
If you struggle to sort the delivery out, let me know and i'll send you our address and also if you find it or something similar cheaper elsewhere, this is really just a guide of items we would be purchasing.
If you downloaded the easyfundraising app that we sent the link to the other day, buying it through that would also mean we could claim a bit of money back from there also.

🌖🦉❄ Spend a magical evening in the company of the owls at Baytree Owl and Raptor Centre! Set in the warm glow of our softly lit indoor arena, this enchanted setting creates the perfect ambience for a cosy yet thrilling spectacle.

🕕Taking place Saturday the 6th of December 6:00 – 8:00pm, this jam-packed evening extravaganza features over 1h 30m of exciting flying demonstrations, where you’ll be able to watch an incredible range of owls doing what they do best!

🍲Half way through the demonstration, we will pause for a warm-up break for some hot soup and refreshments, and then return straight back to the action.

🌙Throughout the evening, you can expect to meet a variety of amazing species, from the ghost-like barn owl to the impressive western Siberian eagle owl - and many more besides!
