As the weather turns colder, your pet might start to feel those aches and pains a little more - just like us!

K-Laser therapy is a non-invasive, pain-free, and drug-free treatment that helps reduce inflammation and improve circulation and can be very beneficial for senior patients with chronic conditions . Whether your pet has arthritis, joint pain, a recent injury, or is recovering from surgery.... laser therapy can provide real relief and help them stay mobile and happy! ๐Ÿ•

As you can see, the sessions are non invasive for pets- here is Buster enjoying one of his weekly sessions with one of our nurses.

๐Ÿ“ž Think K-laser could benefit your pet? Call the practice for more information

๐Ÿพ Throwback time! ๐Ÿพ

You may remember brave Gertie, who came to us for an emergency C-section a few months ago. We're so happy to share that her pups are now thriving, full of beans, and just had their first health checks and vaccinations! ๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿถ

Here they are enjoying some cuddles with our RVN's Karina and Chelsey after their first health check. Gertie and the pups all passed with flying colours! ๐ŸŒˆ

Ralph the Catโ€™s Amazing Transformation! ๐Ÿˆโ€โœจ

Say hello to a leaner, healthier Ralph, who has gone from 7kg down to 4kg!

With a carefully managed diet, portion control, and plenty of playtime (laser pointers for the win! ๐Ÿ˜น), Ralph has reached his ideal weight โ€” and the results speak for themselves:

โœ… More agility โ€” Ralphโ€™s now leaping, climbing, and exploring like a kitten again.
โœ… Improved joint health โ€” Less pressure on his hips and knees.
โœ… Better grooming โ€” He can now reach everywhere and keep his coat silky smooth.
โœ… Lower risk of diabetes and liver disease โ€” Big win for long-term health.
โœ… Increased energy and mood โ€” Heโ€™s more playful, affectionate, and confident.

Overweight cats can struggle silently, but small, consistent changes can lead to huge improvements. Ralphโ€™s journey shows just how impactful weight management can be โ€” and we couldnโ€™t be prouder! ๐Ÿพ

Animal Pain Awareness Month

Did you know, 80% of cats over 12 years old suffer with arthritis...
It often goes unnoticed because cats are masters at hiding pain and owners often mistake the signs as ageing.

๐Ÿšซ No more high jumps or stairs?
๐Ÿ˜พ Licking more and not grooming properly?
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Sleeping all day (even more than usual)?

These could be subtle signs of joint pain. Letโ€™s keep our feline friends comfy, if you think your cat may be suffering from arthritis then book an appointment to speak with a vet about how to manage your cat's pain.

Visits to the vet donโ€™t have to be scary - just ask Dennis! โ˜บ๏ธ

Dennis loves coming to the vets and showing off his tricks to all the team. He loved the fuss of his recent visit and reminded us how rewarding a positive vet experience can be.

Not every pet feels confident at the vet. Many dogs and cats can become anxious or stressed, but small things like patience, gentle handling, and a few tasty rewards go a long way in building trust.

Whether your pet is outgoing or needs a little extra reassurance, weโ€™re here to make their visit as comfortable as possible. With a little love, patience and lots of treats, we try to make every visit a paws-itive experience ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™
