My goodness me do we have some adorable juvenile Leopard Geckos available at the moment! 🥰

Pictured we have just a couple of the gorgeous Leopard Geckos at our Grantham Store and we’ve got more available at Sileby too!

Leopard Geckos are one of the most popular species to keep, they have the most adorable little faces which make them look like they’re permanently smiling, are full of character and are great for handling - one of these cheeky geckos loves sitting on our shoulders and having a good nosy around the shop!

Look at our adorable little marginated tortoise (Testudo marginata) chowing down on some Optimised52 today ♥️

Optimised52 is good for Marginated tortoises because it is designed around the nutritional needs of Mediterranean tortoises.

Very high in fibre — Marginated tortoises are adapted to eating fibrous weeds, grasses and other coarse vegetation. Optimised52 provides a lot of fibre to support normal digestion.
Low in protein — Excessive protein isn't desirable for this species of tortoise, so the relatively modest protein level is appropriate for a herbivorous Mediterranean species.
Lots of plant variety — It contains around 52 different grass and botanical species, giving the tortoise a broad range of plant material rather than relying on one ingredient.
Provides useful minerals and nutrients — Its formulation includes calcium and other nutritional components intended to support normal growth and shell development.
Can be rehydrated to aid hydration — Adding water makes it softer and increases its moisture content, which is useful alongside a tortoise's normal access to fresh water and moisture-rich plants. Rehydrating can also make it more palatable if your tortoise is a little fussy!
Useful when fresh weeds aren't available — This is particularly valuable in places such as the UK, where suitable weeds and grasses can become scarce during winter.
Made specifically with Mediterranean tortoises in mind — It's intended as a supplementary food for species such as Marginated tortoises rather than being a generic reptile food.

Variety is key and Mediterranean tortoises should always have a diet based largely on suitable weeds, grasses and flowers, with Optimised52 providing a consistent, nutritious addition.
