Caring for your pets
Since I was young, I’ve always loved many different kinds of animals and have had a keen interest in both taking care of and learning about them. Although I have kept and bred many pets personally from childhood, I began a full time career with reptiles and small animals 10 years ago. During this period I have used my knowledge and trained to become specialist within all areas of small animal and reptile care. I began Reptile and Pet Boarding in 2010 and now have the opportunity to share my love of animals with my clients and pet owners, all over the Midlands. In 2012 I began working with one of the main animal charities in the UK, rescuing stray and confiscated reptiles within my local area. This experience of rehabilitating animals, who often come to me in the absolute worst of conditions, has expanded my knowledge of reptiles and chelonians etc even further, by working closely with our experienced local exotics vet. Having to administer medicines and provide optimal conditions in order for animals to recover completely during their aftercare, has therefore enabled me to provide an even deeper level of care for your pet. I am able to offer boarding services for sick and convalescing animals, so if your pet has become ill or had to undergo an unexpected surgery before your travel, I am still able to accommodate them. Animal welfare is at the top of my list of priorities and my aim is to give all animals within my care, the best environment and enrichment's possible. I am more than happy to help educate anyone with questions regarding responsible pet care, to in turn, enable them to provide the best level of care for their pets.
