Each session is supported by a take away step by step guide sheet that details all the techniques and tips learnt, ideal for non attending family members or to simply refresh your memory.

As a member of the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and PPN (pet Professional Network) all methods used are kind, ethical and up to date with the science of learning.

❤️ I'm very excited to announce that Barkingham Palace is expanding. We've realised that there is a demand for some doggos who are better cared for in their own home.

We will now start offering pet sitting from the end of this month. We will be working a small team and offering a 24 hour sitting service for your doggos, cats and other beasts. There will always be an extra member of staff should an emergency arise with a pet sitter, therefore, your bookings will be guaranteed!

Also, guaranteed is that our sitters will look after your house, water plants, water your garden and can even provide groceries for your return home and cook you a meal. Should there be an emergency with your home, we also have a staff member on-call 24 hours.

"I would just like to say a big THANK YOU to Barkingham Palace.
Our little dog is quite nervous around other dogs and so although we loved Barkingham, which is a caring, professional home-from-home set up - our little dog was a little unsure and found it quite stressful around other dogs.

I thought we may have to cancel our trip to visit our daughter who lives in Valencia but NO! Nicky at Barkingham Palace went above and beyond and found us a dog sitter who stayed in our home with our dog whilst we were away.

Our sitter was wonderful and our dog loved her. Not only did we have a worry free holiday but our home was also taken care of beautifully. Thank you both x

After six years of not being able to watch a David Attenborough programme, or any other animal related TV programme, I stupidly settled down to watch Crufts. Within three seconds, the house erupted with barks that said, ‘How did you lot get into my house?’

Oh Woodruff, you’re so right! We have our very own Crufts going on right here! We don’t need dogs on telly. 🥰🥰🐾🐾🐾🏆🏆

Congratulations to Emily Anagnostopoulou on accepting a position at Battersea Dogs' and Cats' Home. Emily runs the operations side of Barkingham Palace and we are so proud that Battersea have seen the qualities that we see in you. We're also delighted that the position is only part-time so that you can continue doing the amazing job you do for us at Barkingham Palace.
